Chapter 8

Sam's POV

"Sam!" Sookie shouted in my ear. "Huh? What?" I asked in confusion. I was too deep in thought, I was thinking out other things... "I was trying to tell you something..." She said quietly. I shook my head to wake myself up and then said. "Ok, go ahead tell me." "Well would you like to go on another date?"

I paused and then gave a skeptical look. Should I go on another date? I mean, the last one was ok. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad. "I don't know, I have been leaving Silly all by herself a lot. We're like best friends..." I informed her while trying to smile. "I get it, it's fine. You don't like me do you?" She asked.

"What?! Wait you like me?!" I asked. She laughed and then nudged my arm a little. "C'mon Sam! Don't play like that, you know I do!" She said while a hint of a greenish blush appeared. I chuckled nervously and then put my hand behind my back. "Well..." I said while looking away. "Ok, so for real now. Are we going on the date? Yes or no." She asked, closely leaning next to my face. I lightly scooper back and then shrugged my shoulders.

"I don't know Sookie, I mean. I have Taurtis to take care of too. He's very sick and he needs my help." I told her while she sighed. "You don't have to lie about your feelings..." She pouted while crossing her arms, turning her back on me. I groaned while rolling my eyes. "Yeah... Anyways I should go now, it's probably best if I go home now." I said while walking away.

She didn't respond, I think I may have angered her... Hopefully it didn't cause any permanent damage... I spotted Silly hanging out with Grian, the two seemed to really hit it off quite well. "Hi guys." I said while waving at them. They turned around and Silly smiled at the sight of me... Wait a minute, she likes me too doesn't she?... That's something to really consider... "Hey Sam." Grian said while Silly slowly shied away.

"Do you know how bad Taurtis is? I almost feel as if he's dying." Grian said. When he mentioned him dying I just scoffed and then told him. "Taurtis dying? That can't happen! It's too impossible!" I said while laughing. He sighed and then put his hand on my shoulder. "But it might happen." He said while I rolled my eyes at his insane remark. "You're crazy! He won't die..." I paused.

"HE'S NOT GOING TO DIE, IS HE?!"I semi-shouted while grabbing on to his collar. I noticed I made Silly scoot back a little, I think I may have scared her... "N-No! He's not... Well he might, I don't know!" He said while I let him go. He fixed his shirt and I sighed. "Sorry, I just get really upset when someone mentions stuff like that..." I mumbled.

"Right... Anyways I'll meet up with you guys at the bus station, I need to go check on Taurtis to make sure he's ok." He said while I nodded, he left me behind with Silly, since Grian left. We figured that we could just stay here and hang out for a while. "So..." She said shyly. "Sam... Can I have a hug?..." I nodded and then stuck my arms out for a hug. It was random, but it was pretty good to hug her.

She hand her arms around my neck and I had mine around her waist. "OH GOD! SILLY IS DATING GRIAN AND SAM?!" Invader said, surprised, as she took a picture and then ran off. We didn't mind her, for some reason I didn't care if she did post that picture. You know... I don't think I truly like Sookie after all... I think maybe I do like silly in that way... I looked into her eyes, seeing my reflection on her glasses while I put my hand on her cheek.

When I did she blushed a bright pink while we continued to gaze into each other's eyes. "S-Senpai..." She mumbled loud enough for me to hear. I smiled and then thought long and hard about what I was going to do next... I should've thought about it longer, but you only live once. So I gently pulled her closer and then kissed her. I closed my eyes while she made a little sound, of surprise, when I did it. When we pulled away most of her blush was now red...

"Sam.. Does this mean you like me back?" She asked. I took a deep breath and then nodded. "Yeah, so... Would you like to be my girlfriend?..." I asked her while she chuckled. "Well of course..." She smiled while she rested her head on me while we continued to hug... What a day.
