Adena's POV:
We met up with Annabeth down an alley. She had pulled us off the sidewalk. I glared, I hated being grabbed. She questioned where my cousin found 'him', referring to his friend. I was annoyed by her attitude and it looked like he was to.
"He's my friend." he said.
"He helped us." I mumbled.
"Shush, I'll talk to you afterward." she snapped at me.
I glared deadly at her. She ignored me.
She asked if he was homeless, and Perseus said to ask him. She looked surprised.
"He can talk?" she asked.
"I talk. You are pretty." Perseus's friend said.
"Awe." I said.
"Ah! Gross!!" she said, stepping away from him.
I glared more at her. What the heck was her problem?! It seemed like Perseus felt the same way I did. He checked his friend's hands. He looked surprised.
"Tyson. Your hands aren't even burned." he said.
"Of course not. I'm surprised the Laistrygonians had the guts to attack you with him around." Annabeth muttered.
Tyson tried to touch her hair, but she smacked him away.
"Stop that, he's just curious." I said, annoyed.
She turned to Perseus.
"Where did you find her?" she asked.
He ignored her question.
"What were you talking about? Laistry-what?" he asked.
She started explaining. Then they started talking about dreams and a camp. After a while Tyson raised his hand like he was in a class.
"Canadians in the gym called Percy something... Son of the Sea God?" he said.
Oh, so he likes being called Percy. I thought, feeling kinda stupid.
Annabeth and Percy exchanged looks.
Percy started explaining about the Greek gods and demigods. Tyson seemed calm about all of it, even when Percy told him that he and Annabeth were both demigods.
"So... you believe me?" Percy asked.
Tyson nodded and said, "But you are... Son of the Sea God?"
"Yeah. My dad is Poseidon." Percy said.
Tyson now looked confused and said, "But then..."
Sirens interrupted him.
"We don't have time for this." Annabeth said.
She talked about a taxi and they talked about if they'd take Tyson and I, or not. They decided to take us both.
----------------
Annabeth summoned the Chariot of Damnation. It was a crazy ride and we ended up getting four numbers from the drivers. 30, 31, 75, 12.
Then we got to a point in the road, and before Percy could ask what the numbers mean, Annabeth dragged us out. I looked up the hill and could guess why. At the top of the hill, a group of people were being attacked.
