Forgotten 1

"Adrianna, let's play in the water." Said the boy in shorts, pulling her in the water and splashing her with it. They we're having fun until a big wave came and swallowed them both.

"Ahhhhhh!" Mauly suddenly woke up with tears on her eyes and sat down.
"Oh, it was just a dream." She said to herself, she wiped the tears and stood up to get water in the kitchen.

In the Morning...

"Mau, wake up. We'll be late if you don't prepare."
Bliz shouted and pulled my blanket.

"Ughh." I opened my eyes and saw her beside me smiling.

"Good morning, best friend." She said with enthusiasm.

"'Morning. What's with your smile? It's creepy." I said as I walk towards the bathroom.

"You don't know?"

"What?"

"Ewww, go in and finish brushing, after that take a bath. I'll prepare breakfast." She said and pushed me inside the bathroom.

After a while I came out of the bathroom and change my clothes. I wore a sleeveless light blue blouse paired with a white cardigan and black pencil cut skirt.

"Here's your favorite coffee and bread." She said and serve me and sat down at the chair in front.

"Thanks, you're the best. So what were you talking about a while ago? The thing that I don't know?" I said and sipped my coffee.

"You see, the take-over ceremony will take place soon, and the Monreal Family will be present today." She said while smiling.

"Ohh. I'm not really interested. You know that I only work for the company because I had no choice and I can be with you, right?" I saw her disappointed.

"Yeah, yeah. You're a workaholic girl. You're too serious. Why don't you lighten up a bit. That's why you haven't had a boyfriend." She said and stood up. I just looked down.

"I'm not workaholic. I just work hard to keep my head occupied, but whatever I do nothings working." I just continued to drink my coffee and eat my bread.

"Come on, Mau. Can't you let him go? It's been 12 years since that accident." She said and I saw her smile sadly.

"I can't. I don't know why, but I whenever I'm with another guy, he always appear on my mind. "

"Don't punish yourself. I know he also wants your happiness."

"How can I be happy, if I keep on dreaming of that time." I said and I lift up my head to stop the tears from falling.

"Mau, no one's blaming you for what happened that time. You're the only one thinking that it's your fault."She pulled my hands, "This." She pointed at the scars in my hands, she pulled my feet, "and this. These are not healthy for your body." I just pulled my feet and covered the scars. She got my cup and plate. "Go prepare your things. We'll use your car. I don't want to drive." She said and washed the cup and plate.

I went to my room and got my things.

Blizsandra Evangelista is my best friend. I met her when I was in college. We had the same degree that's why we met. We got along with each other. She pretty much knew everything about me and vice versa. We both live at Forbes Park Village when we were kids. She knew my family, I also knew hers, but both our families are not that close.

Now, I bought a condo unit at Pacific Plaza Tower. The owner of the Pacific Plaza Tower is my mom's best friend, so when I went to her and told her I want to avail a umit at the Tower, she offered me the Penthouse.  Bliz on the other hand still live with her family at Forbes.
