Matte's POV

After the plane had landed, my mother, my sister and her husband went home to rest. My father, on the other hand, brought me to the Monreal Tower, so far all the employees there are very welcoming. In fact, it should be that way, 'cause it is a Hotel and in 1 weeks time, I'll be the one running it. It's my first time visiting this branch in the Philippines. During anniversary parties the whole family will travel to the Philippines, but my father and mother are the only one attending it. On the other hand my sister and I will travel somewhere else, and his husband always stays in Europe.

The meeting with each department head of the hotel went on much longer.

When the meeting was done my father told me to call the family to tell them we were going to eat outside.

My father decided to visit his old friend, the owner of the Luna e Stella Diner.

When we reached the diner, the waiter led us to our table.

"Stiles, look at that beautiful lady, she's staring at you." My sis said and cling to my arms.

I looked at where she's pointing, I saw her, she's beautiful alright.

When she saw me look at her she immediately looked away.

I just smiled. "Stiles, do you know her?" My sister asked as we sat down.

"No." I replied.

"Who?" My father asked.

"That lady on the other table, the one with the white cardigan she was staring at Stiles a while ago." My sister replied, and my father turned around to look at the lady.

"Wait." He said and faced us. "Isn't she the assistant of the Accounting Dept. Head in the meeting a while ago?" He said while looking at the me.

"Wow, dad, you remember even the face of the assistant." My sister said enthusiastically.

"Well, I didn't pay attention about the employee's faces." I said in reply.

"Well you should. Matte, you'll be in charge soon. You should know all the faces of your employees." My father said and smiled.

"She looks familiar, dear." My mom said.

"Have you met her before?" My dad replied, we looked at mom as she tried to remember things.

"Let's order." My sister cut in. She smiled and opened the menu.

We ordered and we ate. I ate silently while my parents and the couple are talking.

My phone suddenly rang, I excused my self and went to take the call.

I was looking at my phone while returning to the table, but someone suddenly bumped into me. She came from the ladies CR.

"Ouch." She said and I saw her on the floor.

"I'm sorry, miss. I wasn't looking to where I was going." I bend down to help her stand.

I hold unto her arms and pulled her up. "No it's okay. I'm fine." She said and she lifted her head.

"Wait, you,re..."

"I'm sorry sir. I didn't know it was you." She said and stepped at the side and bowed her head a little.

"No harm done. It's okay. You're one of the employee at the Tower, right?" I asked her.

"Ye-yes sir." She said with hesitation. "I'm Mauly from the Accounting Department." She said while smiling. Whoa she's beautiful.

I smiled back and my phone rung again, I was about to get it, when I saw her leaving, but then she was staggering.
