Mauly's POV

It has already been a week since I didn't go to work. I don't want to see sir Matte. I have been avoiding him since the time when we went to my house in Forbes.

I didn't tell anyone where I went. Bliz has been calling me, but I didn't answer her. She texted me the first day saying that sir Matte was looking for me. I didn't respond to any of her messages or calls.

I just want some alone time for myself. I went to our family vacation house in Cebu. I have been staying here with the caretaker's family. They have been taking care of me. I on the other hand stayed in my room just looking out the window, looking at the scenery.

Even after a week, I'm still confused, and I don't know how to react and explain my behavior when we were at my father's house.

When sir Matte kissed me, the images of Stiles smiling appeared on my head.

When he kissed me the second time. I remember the promise I and Stiles made.

I know it's just kids promise, but I've held on to it until now, even though I know that it will never happen anymore.

Every time I do something that has to do with other guys, I feel Stiles presence.

Just thinking of the those memories made me shed a tear.

I've locked up myself in my room in the vacation house. I just go out whenever I wanted to eat, or I wanted to walk around the place.

I still haven't decided what to do. I wanted to stay for one week more, but then Bliz is really worried about me. She keeps texting me every minute, calling every hour.

10 days later, I've decided to go home. I never told Bliz that I'm coming back. I just went straight to my unit and slept. The next day I'm prepared myself for work.

"Mauly." Bliz shouted, with teary eyes and she came running to hug me. I just hugged her back.

"I better go and talk to Ma'am Andy." She let go of me and smiled.

"You also better explain yourself to me."

"I'm sorry for worrying you." I just replied while walking away from her.

I knocked at the door, and I went in Ma'am Andy's office.

"Good morning, ma'am." I greeted her.

"Ms Fermosa, you're alive." She smiled, and offered me a seat. "Sit down."

I sat down at the chair in front of her table. "I apologize for my absences these past few days Ma'am. I went to Cebu for an urgent family business." I reasoned out.

"No need to apologize. Bliz has already told us that your family needs you." She said and smiled, she even offered me a marshmallow. "But, you need to work overtime until you finish the piled up paper works on your desk. Understand?"

"Yes, Ma'am." I stood up and did what she had told me.

When I reached my desk, there were really piled up folders and papers.

"Good luck with finishing that this week, Mau." Christy passed by me, and laughed.

"I can help you if you want." Bliz offered, but I refused.

"I can manage." I started from the top papers. "I need to work overtime later, so you go on ahead of me."

"You sure?" I just nodded in reply.

For the whole day I've been trying to finish 1/4 of the pile up works.

At 8 pm I manage to finish the most urgent papers. I fixed my things, I decided to take some of my work with me and prepared to go home. I went to the elevator and pressed the button. As I was waiting, I took out my phone and texted Bliz if she we cam go out tomorrow. While I was texting, the elevator stopped and someone came in, but I didn't bother to look at who.
