Chapter 13

~Alison's P.O.V.~

"Hey Severide"

Kelly turned to see Patterson running to catch up to him

"Have you heard any news about Alison?" He asked

"No" Kelly said sounded disinterested as he kept walking

"Look I'm just asking"

"And I'm telling you" Kelly said as he stopped and turned to him "They don't have an update"

"I know you don't like the fact that I am lieutenant now but you still have to be respectful"

Kelly simply walked off without saying a word

I opened my eyes. I was in a house fire. I had all my gear on. I slowly stood up and the ringing tone that signaled I was down stopped. I looked around and through the smoke to try to see. I took a couple steps as I breathed through my mask. I walked to the door and ended up in the hallway. The fire was intensifying. I turned to my left to see a little girl standing at the end of the hallway. I began to walk toward her when the ground below me caved in. And I fell in the fire below me

I gasped. My vision slowly cleared up. I slowly sat up, I groaned in pain "What the hell"

Jay walked back to his desk when Voight walked out

"So we're back to a dead end huh" Voight said

"Crime scene has nothing. We don't have anything so yea, dead end" Jay said

Everyone walked back upstairs

"We have no leads, what now?" Erin asked

Adam kept staring at the note and a picture of Alison "Have we checked into her life. Who she's had contact with recently, anyone she knows?"

Everyone turned to Mouse

"Well I did do a sweep online but the one person you can ask is Kelly. Her twin brother" Mouse suggested

Jay nodded "I will be back"

"I will go with you" Antonio said as he walked after Jay

Once they arrived at the firehouse, they walked in to see Kelly in the main room where everyone else was at

"Have you guys got any leads?" Chili asked

"No. We're working on it" Antonio said

"Kelly can we talk to you and Matt in Chief Boden's office?" Jay asked

Kelly nodded as they all began to walk to Boden's office

"Me too?" Patterson asked

Jay shook his head. They all arrived and closed the door

"What's this about?" Boden asked

"We need to know exactly who Alison knew. If anyone had some kind of grudge against her" Antonio said

Everyone paused then shook their heads "No"

"What about Cindy? I know Alison never really liked her" Matt suggested

"No" Jay shook his head "Cindy isn't capable of that"

"There's really no one to point out. Everyone loved Alison, no one ever had anything against her" Kelly said "I would know"

"Well we've been trying, but we need something because everything is leading to a dead end" Antonio said

"If only it was that easy" Boden said

Everyone stayed silence but nodded in agreement. Just then Chief Riddle opened the door and walked in. He stopped when he noticed everyone in the room

"I don't mean to interrupt but can I have a moment alone with Chief Boden?" Riddle asked

They all nodded respectfully and left

"We gotta get back but call if you find out anything useful" Jay said

Matt and Kelly both nodded as Antonio and Jay left

The drug was too strong. I had knocked out again shortly after I had awoken. When I woke up again I was in a different position. I was still in chains but they were being tied above me. Julian was setting up what looked like a camera. Then when my vision for clear I noticed it was a camera. He was setting it up facing me

"Great your awake. Now we can get started" Julian said smirking

I looked down to see I was dressed in a tank top and my jeans. He must've taken off my jacket because that's what I was wearing over this. He turned on the camera and put a mask. He walked over to me

"You say a word about where you are. Who I am. Anything and this knife goes straight into your heart. Or I could make you suffer. Which I am so it's a win win" He said waving the knife in front of me

Voight and the rest of the team were upstairs going through everything trying to figure out a clue. The tv they had turned on out of nowhere and there they were. Alison whom was tied up and a man in a mask standing in front

"District 21 of the Chicago Police department and firehouse 51 of the Chicago fire department I hope you are all watching this" The man said

"Mouse, track this" Voight demanded

"Already on it" Mouse said as he began to type quickly on his keyboard "I can't pinpoint where, he's bouncing off too many towers"

They all stood as they watched

"No words could explain the greatest pleasure I am having right now. I know you all care about your precious Alison Severide. So if you want to see her alive. I want 1 million dollars. I have send the codes do you. You have 12 hours to make that payment. And if you don't, you will be burying another firefighter" The man walked over to me and slowly cut my arm. I screamed in pain as I watched the blood slowly come out. He raised up his fist and swung across my face. My face swung to the direction he hit it. I groaned in pain. Over and over again he repeatedly hit me

District 21 and the fire department all watched in horror. The man got on the phone and dialed district 21 number. The phone rang and Voight picked it up

"This is Voight" He said with his ruff voice

"Your girl is tough. But I don't think she will last the 12 hours. You better get my money" The man said
