Chapter 43

Alison's P.O.V.

"Alison, what are you doing?" Gabby asked

"Yea, what's going on?" Brett asked as they both walked into the room

I raised up my dress and strapped the velcro around my thigh. I loaded the gun and strapped it in "I'm going to end this once and for all"

"End what? What's going on?" Gabby asked

"Why do you have a gun?" Brett asked

I finished putting the gun in and let the rest of my dress down "Julian Price is out there. Voight and Jay went after him. He's not here shopping he's here to kill me" I took a couple steps to the door

"You can't just go out there. Alison this is your wedding. Voight has this handled" Gabby said

I turned around to face her "This is Julian. I'm ending this. Now" I turned back around and walked out the door. I had hoped they wouldn't follow me, I gave a smile and a wave at Lonnie before I walked out. Doing this in a white dress, yes should be fun. I walked outside and walked to the side of the building. My heels clicking on the cement. I turned the corner but suddenly went back when I saw Jay and Voight fighting.

I took a deep breath. I picked up my dress and grabbed the gun I strapped in. My dress fell back down and I gripped the gun in my hand. I turned my head to look out the corner and saw Voight fighting with one guy while Jay was fighting another. I saw one guy on the floor face down. They were just maybe 10 feet away from me. My eyes widen when I saw who Jay was fighting, it was Julian

Without any hesitation I tried to softly walk up to them. I raised the gun up pointing it at Julian. But with Jay and him fighting it was hard. Julian gave Jay one hell of a punch sending him to his knees. That's when I saw my opportunity. I pulled the trigger and the gunshot echoed my eardrums. I was frozen, heels planted on the ground. I shot him, I did it. I kept a tight firm grip on the gun. I stared blankly at the ground

"Ali.. Ali, it's okay" I heard Jay's voice. But I couldn't bring myself back to reality

"Alison" Voight spoke in his deep voice

I moved my eyes to the gun as Jay covered his hand on mine. Trying to take the gun. I finally let go with a small gasp escaping

"Hey, it's okay. It's okay" Jay said

I looked up at him "I.. I"

"Hey it's okay" Jay said as he pulled me into a hug "It's okay, it's over"

My moved my eyes to Julian's lifeless body. Blood was seeping out of the bullet wound. He's right, it's finally over

Two Weeks Later

"Hey, how was the honeymoon?" Gabby asked as she sat next to me on the big table in the main room

I nodded "It was good, I didn't want to leave that beautiful island" I dramatically threw me hands in the air

She chuckled "I bet you didn't"

Jimmy sat across from me with a breakfast plate "Well, now that all the drama is out the door finally everything here is going to be normal"

I laughed "Yes, but if you start drama Jimmy I have a history of giving people good bruises on their cheekbones. Don't test me" I have a quirky smile

He chuckled and held up his hands defensively "Hey,  I promise"

Ambulance 61. Ridgeway street

Jimmy let down his spoon and stood up. Both Jimmy and Brett walked outside. As they walked out Kelly walked in

"Hey sis, I forgot but Boden wants to see you in his office when you walked in"

I nodded at him and stood up "Thanks" I moved from the table and made my way to Boden's office. His door was already open but I knocked. He looked up at me and motioned me to go in. I walked in while he took off his glasses

"I just wanted to say how good it is to have you back" He said standing up

I slid my hands into my pockets "Thanks Chief, I'm happy to be back. I really missed being here"

He nodded "Good, that will be all"

"Alright" I turned around and walked out of the room. I smiled as I was walking to the main room, everything was finally falling into place

By later that day I was finally home. I walked over and sat next to Jay on the couch "Ooof I'm so tried"

He placed his hand on my leg "I know, how was work?"

I nodded "Good, hey babe"

"Hmm" He said looking at me

"How's your life right now?"

"What question is that?"

"Just answer it" I said looking at him

He looked back forward "Life's pretty good"

"Can it get better?"

"It can, possibly"

"Well.." I began to smile "It is going to get better"

He turned his head to look at me "What?"

I smiled and waited for a minute "I'm pregnant"

His face was priceless, for a second I thought he was going to pass out for a second. Thankfully he didn't. He nearly jumped and moved to where he was in front of me "Are you serious? I mean are you sure?"

"Well out of the 10 test I took and going to the doctors. I'm pretty positive"

He laughed and smiled so big "Oh my god" He stood up from the couch and so did I "This is amazing!" He put his arms around my waist and picked me up twirling me around in a circle "Oh my god, I love you. I love you" He put me down and kissed me

He is right, everything is now falling into place
