Chapter 1

"What the hell Niall!"

"Don't touch me!"

"What did you call me?"

My mind is scrambling. I hear my friends, my band mates, my brothers fighting. Tension has been high lately. Everyone has been on edge. And everyone is fighting.

"Harry you arrogant bastard." Zayn spits.

"At least I am not so self centered I have to look into a mirror twenty four seven!" Harry throws back.

"Guys! Can we just stop. Look at you!" I interject.

I have been trying to keep the lads from arguing but it doesn't help. They all have been around each other way to much.

"Shut the hell up Liam!" Both Zayn and Harry yell at me.

"That's it! I am leaving. I will be back later. I can't stand being here with all you twats and your constant fighting!" I grab my keys and storm out of the studio. I just need some time alone.

I get into my car and start it. I sit there listening to the engine. What am I going to do about the lads? Will they ever stop fighting? I put the car into drive and pull out of the parking lot.

I am so steamed that I have no idea where I am going nor how fast I am going. I get onto the highway and just drive. My speed is increasing. Without looking I merge into the right lane. What I didn't know was that there was a large semi truck next to me. My top of my car hits the semi and the large trucks tires hit me sending my car rolling. I hit my head on the steering wheel.

When the car is done moving I dangle there from my seat. I lift my hand to my head and feel so much pain. I pull my hand away and there is blood. My blood. A lot of my blood. I start to feel dizzy, my eyelids start to feel heavy and next thing I know I am surrounded by a world of darkness.

"Stay with me kid!"

"He's awake!"

"He is loosing to much blood!"

"Get him to the OR stat!"

I hear all these orders being shouted from my subconscious.

I finally come to.

"Where am I?" I ask. My head is throbbing in pain.

"You're at the hospital."

"Why am I here?"

"You were in a crash." The lady I believed to be my nurse explained.

"What happened?"

"You were on the highway when you hit a semi truck and flipped."

What was happening?

"Is there anyone who we can contact to let them know where you are?" She asked. 

"I don't know anybody." 

"Where were you last before the accident?" 

"I don't know." 

"Who were you with?" 

"I don't know." 

"Doctor!" She yells. She now looks worried. 

"What is it?" The doctor says running into the room.

"This boy doesn't know anything about what happened before the crash. He can't tell me who is was with or where he was." She tells him. 

The man then walks up to me and smiles. 

"Hey son. Can I ask you a few questions?" He asks me. 

"Uhh, sure." I still don't quite know what is going on. 

"What day is it today?" He asks. 

"I don't know." 

"Okay. What is your birthday?" 

"I don't know." 

"What is your name?" 

"I don't know." 

What is wrong with me? 

"Kid, you must have hit your head so hard that you lost your memory. How long that will last I don't know. How bad is it? I can't quite tell. But you are going to have to stay here for a few days while we contact someone. Once we get in contact with someone we can hopefully get you memory to start working it's way back." The doctor says with a sigh. 

"Okay.." Was all I could say. So, I don't know who I am. I don't know anything right now except for I am alive. That's got to count for something right? 

The doctor and nurse leave the room and begin to discuss something. Maybe about me. I try to adjust myself in the bed but my whole body aches in pain. What happened to me? Why can't I remember anything? I lay back down and fall asleep. What more can I do? I don't know anything about my life. I am no help to the doctor.
