Lost (Liam Payne)

Chapter 26

"Excuse me?!" Danielle hisses turning to face Layla.

"You heard me! You're being such a bitch and Liam does not deserve this! This is Liam's home not your's, if you aren't going to hear him out then it is you who should be leaving not him!"

"Lay-" I try to say.

"Shut up Liam." Danielle interrupts. "She's right, I'll leave."

Danielle grabs her purse and shoes from in front of the door and storms out without another word.

There she goes. My girlfriend of three years walks out the door. I want to run after her. Stop her from leaving.

But something inside me keeps me from doing anything. My mind says go but my heart says leave her alone.

I need to let her calm down, allow her to cool off before trying to talk to her. She will be more understanding once she has time.... I think.

"Come on, let's go sit down. I'll get you some water." Layla breaks me from my thoughts.

She wipes the liquid from my cheeks that I was unaware of falling.

Layla leads me to the couch and sits me down before walking into my kitchen looking for glasses.

"Cabinet next to the fridge." My voice mono-tone.

The petie girl grabs the glass then fills it with ice and water before walking over and handing it to me.  

"Thanks." I say staring off into space.

"I'm so sorry Liam." She whispers, shaking her head at the ground. 

"Don't be." I say grabbing her hand and pulling her to sit. 

She follows my silent instruction then scoots away from me. 

"If it wasn't for me stopping you in the parking lot at that store non of this would have happened. It is my fault and I am sorry for that." She says beginning to tear up. 

"Come on love, please don't." I say getting closer to her and reaching to wipe her eyes. 

When I lift my hand to her face she pulls away and stands up.

"I'm sorry Liam. I can't do this." She sniffles. "I have to go."

She blonde runs out the door just like Danielle. Now what do I do? They both left. I have no one.

Harry, Louis, Niall and Zayn won't talk to me.

I screwed up with Dnaielle.

And Layla just left.

Who do I have now?

A small black and white puff ball comes up and jumps into my lap.

"At least I have you." I say to the small pup.

Loki sits there looking up, panting at me before licking my nose.

"I love you too Loki." I force a smile.

My loyal little dog then adjusts himself on my lap, curls up and falls asleep.

I don't know where I am going to go from here, but I don't think there is any lower than rock bottom.

So Chapter 26 is UP!

Lol. I just wanted to say THANK YOU all for supporting this book. Not to long ago I was sitting here wanting to delete this because I thought there was nothing going for it. Now look, I am almost to 10K reads! I hope this chapter gets us to that! So goal for the story is to get it to 10K reads with this chapter!

Okay, so something that you may not want to hear....

The story is coming to an end very soon. Maybe a few more chapters left. I am ploting the ending now. Don't be mad at me!

There is NOT going to be a 2nd one! The 2nd book to 'Better Together' has gone down hill and I am removing that soon. So I think I am just going to keep it at one book.

Once I am done with this book I am focusing on 'The Kiss Cam' PLEASE go and check that story out for me! I have I think 4 or 5 chapters up now and once I am done writing 'Lost' I will go back to writing that one!
