Lost (Liam Payne)

Chapter 21

There she is.... Walking in to my girlfriend's house.

"Oh, my. You're Liam Payne from One Direction!" She squeels.

So this is how she is going to act? She is going to act like we have never met? She is going to act like a crazy fan?

"Not anymore, I quit." I say emotionless.

"I heard about that. I didn't think it was true."

It hurts that she is doing this.

"Well, then. Liam, this is Layla, my best friend. And this is her boyfriend Jacob." Sarah says introducing us.

"Nice to meet you Layla." I stand up to shake their hands. "Nice to meet you Jacob."

"You too." They both say at the same time.

"Take a seat come on!" Sarah waves Layla and her friend over to the couch.

The both of them walk over to the couch that is next to love seat that Danielle and I are on.

"How are you Dani? I haven't seen you in forever!" Layla asks.

Danielle cuddles up to me side and smiles.

"I have been great. Just spending time with my baby, we just adopted a puppy." Danielle says happily.

I can see Layla's jaw clench as Danielle talks.

"How about you Lay?" Danielle asks.

"Great! I have been going to school and working on my designs." She answers with a smile as she snuggles against Jacob.

"Ow, Liam, you're squeezing my hand." Danielle wines.

"Oh.. Um.. Sorry." I stammer with my words.

Layla reaches up and plants a light kiss on Jacob's lips. She then looks up and gives me a smirk.

My blood begins to boil as she continues to be flirty with the man next to her.

She would laugh loudly and slap his arm playfully at everything he says. She would kiss him every time she could and she poke and tickle him all the time.

It was all pretty sickening.

The rest of the night consisted of her trying way to hard and me trying to just ignore it.

The only problem being it is really hard to ignore her.

She looks great. Her blonde hair a little longer than it was before, her eyes brighter than ever, and her smile is wonderful still.

Layla seems to be happy with the meat head, why can't I be happy for her?

I have Danielle, I should be happy myself.
