Lost (Liam Payne)

Chapter 28

The anticipation in the room grows as I await Simon's offer.

"Can someone please tell me what's going on?" I ask wanting to know why exactly everyone is here.

Simon mentioned that I had broken contract and that he has the legal right to sue me. I am a little worried at what the outcome will be.

"We want you to rejoin the band." Niall gleams, answering my question before my formal boss can.

"Niall  I said hush!" The man snaps before looking back at me and confirming what the blond had already stated with a simple nod.

"You want me back?" I ask still confused.

"That is what he just said, isn't it?" He rudely remarks. 

"Yes it is. Umm I am not sure what to say to this." I say looking at the five people who have been such a big part of my life up until recently. 

"You will say yes in order to avoid legal actions." Simon states.

"I quit the band for a reason." I defend myself.

"What is the reason Liam?! You lost everything now! You have nothing! You left for Danielle who you had betrayed!" Zayn argues.

His words sting but I can't break down in front of these people.

"I left because it has become way to much for me. The constant moving. I want to live a normal life." I hiss.

"And look at you now. Is this normal?" Louis says gesturing to my appearance.

I look down to take in what I look like. He is right, look at me. I am a mess. I have not shaved in days, I have yet to dress myself in anything but sweats and a shirt. I'm still not living like a normal person. I look like a homeless rich person.

I have yet to leave the house since everything happened so there is no way I am living a life someone who has not had the experience I have had would. I have become a hermit.

"As much as you want to believe you don't need us or the band, you do. You are yourself up on the stage. You are happy." Harry explains, looking me dead in the eyes.

"You have twenty-four hours to make your decision." Simon says standing up and exiting my home.

"I hope you make the right one." Zayn adds before following Simon and the others.

I am left alone once again in my living room. I am left to think about everything that has happened.

Do I want to have the life I lived before I left One Direction? Do I want to go through the stress and the craziness that comes with it?

Harry is right in a way. I am myself up on that stage, I am happy. There is no dout about it. Music has been my life and it continues to be.

Part of me wishes I would have never went back and re-auditioned for The X-Factor after being eliminated in 2008.

Then again another part of me knows I wouldn't have been happy otherwise if I didn't.

This is the hardest decision I have to make and I don't want to mess it up.

I'm good.

I am SO sorry about the wait you all had to do before the update but something came up and I had to fly home to New Mexico. It was all so sudden I literally got the call from my mother saying that I have to get there and that my flight the next day.

But I hope you all doing well and that you aren't mad at me for making you wait!
