Its been 10 days with no cuts. im really happy that i have made it this far!!!!!!!
Well yesterday I got in to a fight with a guy I really care about. I really wanted to cut yesterday and I was about to but my brother walked in and I threw the scissors away from me. He asked me what I was cutting and I told him that I was cutting paper. When I told him that I was thinking that skin is practically paper. I mean people write on skin just like they write on paper. So in my mind skin is paper.
I left my great grandmother's apartment to cool off. I went to the tree that I love. I have been climbing the tree ever since I was a little girl. Well my ex heard me saying a poem that stays close to my heart. I was saying " The Cutter's Lullaby." This poem stays close to my heart because it reminds me of the struggle I have and am going through. Well me ex saw me in the tree and he climbed up there and sat next to me while I cried. I told him what was bothering me and he sat there and listened. So I hung out with him the entire day til I had to leave.
So my brother stopped me from cutting yesterday. THANK YOU ANDREW!!!!!!!!
You're the best brother ever. You probably saved my life! I love you bro.
So again its been 10 days being clean. Lets see if I can make it to 2 weeks.
