KATE'S POV

"Thanks for keeping me company on my way to work", begrüßte mich James Corden. "Nah no problem", gab ich zurück und stieg in sein Auto. Ich war heute morgen bei James Corden, der die Late Late Night Show moderiert, zu Gast bei Carpool karaoke. Wir fuhren los. "So you are actually not from America, right",fragte er. "Yup, I was born in Germany", antwortete ich. "Germany? Never was there before. How is it there", fragte er. "Really cool. The people are super nice and friendly", antwortete ich. "Was it always your dream to be a singer",fragte er. "Well no", antwortete ich. "No", fragte er und sah mich überrascht an. Ich schüttelte lachend den Kopf und er wendete sich wieder dem Verkehr zu. "I wanted to become a doctor when I was younger. I wanted to help people and make them happy again",erklärte ich. "So I'm a huge fan of your new album which is so good. It's so amazing! How? How did you freaking do that", fragte er mich und ich lachte. "I just wrote my feelings down plus I had other amazing people as my team with me in the studio. They helped a lot",erzählte ich ihm. "Can I turn on the radio",fragte er mich und ich nickte. Er beugte sich vor und machte es an. "Ohhh my fave", rief er und fing an die ersten Zeilen von 'I will never let you down' von mir zu singen:

"Now your turn", sagte er und deutete auf mich und ich sang die nächste Strophe:

Er machte das Radio aus. "Such a huge tune! One of my faves of your album", sagte er zu mir. "Thanks", bedankte ich mich. "So a lot of songs on your album were written for your girlfriend, Lauren",sprach er. "Yes, that's true",gab ich zurück. "So how do you guys met",fragte er. "We met through twitter", sagte ich. "Of course, social media! Who doesn't meet on social medias nowadays",redete er und ich lachte. "Well, I was or I still am a huge fans of Fifth Harmony, so she DMed me and I freaked out at three in the morning. Then we started talking and hit off pretty fast. She visited me and I visited her and yeah next thing leads to another and then she asked me to be her girlfriend and yeah",beendete ich. "Well you're engaged now and the video for the engagement is the most streamed video in a week! I think you two are so cute", sagte er. "Awww thank you",bedankte ich mich. "So wedding plans. How many bridesmaides", fragte er. "I guess five",I said. "Who will it be", fragte er. "Uhm I think the four other girls are safe because I have to. If I wouldn't they will kill me",sagte ich und er lachte. "And my best friend Jack",antwortete ich. "Who's is going to the wedding",fragte er und grinste mich dann an. Ich lachte. "Lauren and I didn't make any plans for that yet but you will be on the guest list",sagte ich zu ihm. "You're kidding, right" fragte er, aber ich schüttelte den Kopf. "Holy shoot, now way",redete er. "We have to celebrate that", sagte er und drehte die Musik lauter und es kam wieder ein Song von mir. Diesmal kam Blame:
