It was about 11 hours from homecoming. My dream girl is going to homecoming with someone who's not me. My best friend James is has a new girlfriend her name is Amber. Sweet girl, but she is taking my best friend from me.
Hour one
I wake up at 5:50 unusually. My friends and I agreed not to go to the gym because of homecoming, but we also had a group chat so we could still talk.
Me: You guys up?
Courtney: yeah what's up?
James: I'm up
Iris: older brothers suck.
Brooke:I'm fixing my dress.
James added Amber.
Me: why did you add her.
Amber: hi guys:)
Me:gtg
I set my phone on my nightstand. My room was pretty large for a teenager. It has a full-size bed, couch, TV on my dresser, and a desk. Of course I had a closest but it was small. I ended up having a coach because my mom was tried of my friends always crashing on the couch. I realize I have about 60 minutes before I actually have start getting ready. So I grab my red notebook off of my desk. Then began to write. Well I didn't know what to write about so I just kinda stared at the blank paper.
Hour two
I was half way through getting ready when my mom came into my room.
"Hey sweetie." She said.
"Hey mom, what's up?" I asked.
"Well since tonight is the dance, what are your plans?"
"Well, I'm pretty sure some friends and me are gonna go to Denny's or whatever is open after. Then I'm gonna come home and sleeping." I answered.
"Well, first it's some friends and I, second later I'm going to get your suit from the dry cleaners." She said.
" Will you make my shake please momma?" I asked.
"Of course, love you." She said then left my room.
Then my phone make some noise. I picked it up and it was Chelsea. A small grin slid across my face.
Chelsea: like it?:)
It was a knee high dress that was blue.Me: it's pretty.
Chelsea: Sweet!!:) can't wait for tonight!!:)
Me: it is to early for that many smiley faces.
Hour three
It's 7 am and I have about 45 minutes before I have to leave. I walk down stairs to see my mom in the kitchen reading the newspaper.
"I think your the only one who still reads the newspaper." I said then started to laugh.
"At least you missed the 80's." She answered, then start to die of laughter.
"At least I got to be a 90's kid."
"Ahh, this is why I love you." She said.
"I love you too. And where is my shake?"
"It's in the fridge." She said then went back to reading.
"Where's my backpack?"
"On the stair." She paused. "Remember I told you to pick it up last night. Plus your binder is down here."
"Thanks." I yelled from up stairs.
I ran back down stairs with I'm back pack. Then I grabbed my binder.
