Sorry it's been 5-ever. But here is the new chapter.

I'll skip the details about school today because it was shitty as always. The only good thing to come of it was Mrs. Laycock's science class when I got to work with Hayes. He was actually really funny and knew how to cheer me up. Currently we are walking back to his house which I am assuming isn't too far. "You know I was actually really happy to get paired up with you." He says smiling down at me. I look up at him confused. "Why on earth would you want to work with me?" "Because, I just want to let you know I feel terrible about the way we treat you.." He says looking down no longer at me but on himself. "Really, because none of you really seem to care." I say more mumbling it to myself than anything. "Joycelyn," He says before shaking his head. "Nevermind." He lifts his head back up and points to a house a few houses down. "That's my house." he says smiling. I look up at the house and smile."Well... I'll race ya." I say before running as fast as I can ahead of him. "Hey! No fair you got a head start." He says while laughing trying to catch up. I giggle as I make it to his yard breathing heavy. He finally reaches me and is breathing just as hard as I am. "Again... Not... Fair!" He says looking down at me. I smile and reply, "Your just mad because I'm faster than you." I say laughing looking up at him. "Whatever." He says sticking his tongue out at me. Before I could start walking again he throws me over his shoulder and begins walking inside. I laugh hard and begin pounding on his back. "BENJAMIN!" I yell "Put me down." I say giggling still."Nope." He replies simply. We walk in the door and he throws me on the couch and starts tickling me. "Not... Fair!" I say in between laughing. "Then you shouldn't beat me in races." He says chuckling. "P-Please stop." I say laughing even harder. "Fine only because you asked so nicely." He says taking his hands off me but not moving. I blush and look at the wall pretending to suddenly be very interested in it's blank features. "You know you're beautiful right?" He says pushing a strand of my red hair behind my ear. "N-Not really." I say scratching my arms a habit when i'm nervous. "Why are you doing that" He says looking down at my arms. "Sorry just a habit." I say looking up at him. "Can, Can I see your arms." I suddenly get very scared. "Um, I Uh." He slowly pulls up my sleeves revealing many, many cuts. He stares at me shocked. "Why..." He asks looking down at me. I avert his gaze. "I just can't handle life. With you guys bullying me, I have no friends, my dad beats me, and my mom disappeared.. No one really cares anyway." I say looking down at my feet. I feel something wet on my cheek at look up to see Hayes with tears running down his face. "I-I'm so sorry. I caused this" He says taking my arm and kissing every scar, and every cut. I blush and look down. I've never had anyone really care. He looks up at me. "Never do this again over anyone. You shouldn't leave us based on other people's stupid decisions." He said looking me dead in the eye. I shake my head yes before returning my gaze back to his icy blue eyes. I open my mouth to say something but before I can, I realize, I'm kissing Hayes Benjamin Grier.
