"Sup loser." He says looking at me. "W-Why are you sitting next to me." I ask practically shaking. "What I thought i could sit wherever i wanted." he says smirking at me. I turn back to my journal trying to avoid him. Part of me knew that wouldn't work. "I wasn't done talking to you." He says grabbing my journal. "Give that back." I say reaching for my journal. "What are you always writing in here anyway." He says flipping through my journal. I feel my eyes begin to water as I finally get it back from him. I run out the classroom but I hear his footsteps following me and the teacher yelling after the both of us. I run out the of the school and to the bleachers and hide underneath them. "JOYCELYN!" I hear Clay yelling. I hold my breath and watch as he passes by me. "Damn it." He curses. I quietly make my way out from under the bleachers. "That was close." I think to myself. I slowly walk back to my classroom already knowing I'm going to get detention. Maybe it won't be so- Wait Clay is going to have detention to Nevermind it will be bad. I walk in the class and shyly take my seat noticing all eyes were on me. My teacher turns around and says. "Oh look who decided to come back to class. Ms. Alich I will be seeing you and Mr. Labrant after school for detention." I timidly nod my head before he goes back to teaching. Clay shoots me a glare for hiding from him earlier. I glare back. I grow sick and tired of him treating me like this. "What did I ever do to you." I mumble. "Hm?" He says in response. "Nothing." I say before turning my head back to the teacher completely ignoring Clay. The rest of the day is just like any other. Sitting alone being quiet ignoring everyone. All until the end of the day where I have detention with Clay the way I see it is to just sit quietly waiting for it to be over. I go sit in the back again and Clay sits in front of me. Every now and then he looks at me but turns back around when I look up. He finally says as the teacher leaves the room. "What did you say to me earlier?" I look up at him and "Nothing." "That's a lie and you know it." He glares. "Fine you want the real answer Mr. my life is so perfect. I asked what I ever did to you to make my life more of a living hell then it already is." I say turning back to my journal to mad to look at him. He looks at me shocked and leaves me alone for the rest of the 30 minutes we had left. After detention I start walking home praying my dad won't be there and he isn't. I run to my room and change before lying in bed. I start crying thinking about my mom. I miss her so much. After a little while I slowly fall asleep ending this horrible day.
