Chapter 6
School

In the last week, I didn't really concentrate on school, it flew by quickly and nothing really happened. So today, Monday, I decided just to make a new start. It's B week, and I ate breakfast and packed my lunch. I walked to school with Becky and Bella and as soon as the bell rang, I went to class. Beck and Bell had the same classes but not me, I had biology. I walked to the class. It's actually my first biology lesson since coming to this school. I might just meet some new people and make some friends.
The teacher walked in and told us to be quiet as we all unpacked. When she was marking the roll, she told me to come out and introduced me to my new class. What surprised me was that she read out the name, Spencer. It could be some random guy in our school named Spencer, but what if it was Spencer Maine, the guy who found me, then I would really want to meet him. But sadly, I have no idea how he looked like, and he was also away today. Maybe I could speak to the policemen and tell them I would like to meet that Spencer Maine.
As I listened to the teacher talk about random things about our new topic, I looked away into the distance out of the window. It was nice how the breeze brought some fresh air into the stuffy room. All of a sudden I hear the teacher call my name.
"Annalise, your partner for his project will me Spencer. He is not here today, but he will probably be here tomorrow so you can start the project earlier. You can come collect your sheet now." The teacher smiled at me and I went to the front to collect my assignment. Spencer? Is he the Spencer Maine? Maybe I'll ask the teacher.
"Umm... Ms Avery?"
"Yes?" She replied, looking up to me as put her files down.
"You know my partner?" I asked unsurely.
"Yes. You mean Spencer?"
"Yea, I was wondering what is his ummm... His full name." I spoke.
"Oh, I'm pretty sure it's Spencer Maine." She answered as she continued to organise her files and I walked back to my seat.
Okay, so it's probably the guy who found me almost dead on the streets. Well I will just meet him tomorrow and maybe know a little more about him.
