I needed a place to stay while I was in Colorado while I was looking for a place/studio. So I called James, my cousin, because I knew he had a place that he shared with his friends but they only worked there.
"Hello?"
"James! I have to, have to ask you for a favor! You owe me!" I told him. I heard him groan.
"Whaaatt." He didn't really ask it was just a statement.
"I need a place to stay for a week or two? Is there anyway I could stay with you?" I asked. I knew he would say sure because he and I were pretty close when we were kids.
"Fine. I'll just check with the guys first. And, why are you coming to Colorado? Is it for another job?"
"Actually no. I'm looking for a new studio and I wanted to see my favorite cousin!"
He laughed. I told him the details and when I'd be landing. He told me him and some of his friends would be coming to pick me up.
I started packing because I was leaving tomorrow and I really didn't have time before.
