Part 19

I had no nightmare last night. I actually am living one right now. I pinched myself earlier to see if it was real, and indeed, it was real. I felt pain. Pain in my heart and on my shoulder. 

When I woke up I found Aleks next to me. He has an intense smell of liquor and but I ignore it. I just layed there and stared at the ceiling. It wasn't long until I could feel movement beside me. I took a glace over at him and he was staring at me. 

"Koda, I. I'm so sorry. I know you'll never forgive me but atleast I pushed her away! I didn't let it get any further! Please. I'm..I'm just so sorry." Aleks said. A tear left his eye and I brought my hand to his face to wipe it away. 

"Aleks, you're wrong. I'll forgive you for what happened but yeah, atleast you didn't let it get any farther." I told him and he nodded. "Oh, and Aleks? You reak." He laughed a little.

"Koda, I love you." Aleks brought my head closer to his and kissed a long, passionate kiss. 

"Hey, take a shower before we go any farther." I laughed a little and he nodded. He got up and held out his hand for me. 

"Come on. Let's save some water." Aleks smirked. 

"Welcome back guys! How was your trip?" Sly asked us as he gave us a big group hug. Aleks and I agreed to never tell any of them what happened at the wedding. We agreed to tell them that it was just simple boring wedding stuff. That we had little clips of what we did for each of our channels and for the Hub. 

"It was.. great." I told him but he raised his eyebrow at us. I knew I was a horrible liar. I took a quick glance at Aleks and knew that he couldn't hide anything from his best friend. He looked at me with a pleading look and I gave him a little nod. 

"Uh.. Eddie, you can't tell anyone about this and I mean no one. Not Koots, not Chef, not your mom." Aleks told Sly and Eddie nodded. We all went to go sit on the couch. 

"Yeah sure, what's it about?" He asked us with concern. "Oh my god. You're not pregnant are you?!" 

"What? No! Sly, no!" I told him and he looked disappointed. Did he really think that he was going to become an uncle? Well, an adopted uncle at the very least. Not a real one. 

"I may.. have.. kissed another girl at the wedding." Aleks quickly got out. Sly's face dropped as quickly as he registered Aleks's words. 

"You what?! Koda! How are you dealing with this?" 

"I'm fine. We worked it out. She kissed him and he had some to drink so he didn't know what was going on for a few seconds. All is forgiven. Sly, it's alright. Just please don't tell James otherwise he'll kill my future husband."

"Wait what." Sly asked confused as hell. I couldn't help but giggle and hold up my hand. There, on my ring finger, was an engagement ring. Apparently Aleks had been carrying it around for the past month waiting on a good time to ask. "OH MY GOD!" Sly squealed. Aleks and I just laughed. "Details, details!" I nodded and complied. God. Sly was acting weird today. 

"Wow, aren't the fish beautiful?" I asked Aleks. We were at the New England Aquarium for our last day here in Boston. 

"Yeah. But I know something that is even more beautiful." Aleks said as he looked at me. 

"God, you get more and more cheesy everyday." I laughed. 

"Who said I was talking about you?" He joked as he looked at himself in the glass. 

"Oh please." I said as we started to walk towards the bench in the middle of the tunnel. 

"Koda, wait right here." Aleks instructed me. 

"Oh, don't tell me you're going to make your getaway now are you?" I teased as he simply shook his head. I took a seat on the bench as he made his way to the cotton candy station. When he made his way back I noticed he was holding a small little black box. I shrugged it off and waited for him to sit beside me. But he didn't. He gave me the cotton candy and kneeled. 

"Koda, we've been together for about a year now. It may seem long or short compared to other relationships but ours seems special. We've been through a lot. Me being in a coma and you having a creepy stalker. You've overcome a lot with and without me. You're strong. You have tattoos. You play games. You're basically my twin. Except not. And we don't have a brother sister relationship. Yeah. You're my other half and I don't know what I would do without you." He paused so he could open the box. Inside it was a simple but beautiful ring. My style. Not big and flashy. Little diamond on a silver band. "Koda. You're beautiful. I'm extremely nervous but I'm hoping you will say yes to marrying me. So Koda? Will you marry me?" He finally got out. 

I nodded and he smiled the hugest smile ever. I didn't care about the crowd that happened around us, all I really cared about is that I am going to be by my best friend's side for the rest of my life. 

"Awwhhhh. You guys! You're so cute!" Sly said as he hugged us. 

"But wait. Where's Rue?" I asked. 

"Oh, he's around somewhere. He missed you, Kods. He was depressed as hell." 

"Awwwh, my poor baby! Rue! Come here! Mommy's home!" I called as I started walking downstairs. Rue came running towards me and nearly toppled me over. He had gotten so big since last week! "Oh hiya Rue! How were you boy? Were you a good boy to Uncle Sly?" He replied with little happy kisses all over my face and I was just laughing my head off. 

"Rue, you're crushing me y'know that?" I told him as I pushed him off of me. I got up and I was covered in his fur. The worst part was that I was wearing all black! And Rue was practically white and gray! With a little black of course but y'know.  "Ruuuuueeeee look at what you've done!" I whined but Rue didn't care. He just sat in front of me with his head turned to the side, watching me. 

"Hey Koda." I heard Aleks say and I turned around, he was holding his phone and most likely recording a video. "Holy shit, you're covered in white hair!" 

"No dip Sherlock." I told him and he chuckled. He ended the video and set it down in his office.

Okay, so I think this is the first time I've put an author's note on? Well, I'm thinking about ending this soon. Probably in the next chapter or so. I'm sorry! I just don't have any inspiration anymore to write this story. 

But don't worry! I'm planning on putting on an All Time Low fan fiction? If you know who they are then you are awesome! They are practically my favorite band. 

Also, I don't know if I'll ever have a sequel to this but you never know! I might have a random cause of inspiration!
