Part 17

"So.. where's my car?" Aleks asked me after awhile. Oh, I completely forgot about the car and I honestly had no idea. Jordan was the one who was handling that. I believe it was at the shop? Yeah, that was it. 

"I believe the car is at the shop? I don't know though. Jordan was handling the car. All I know is that it was completely trashed." I told him and he looked horrified. Oh guys and their cars. 

"What?" He asked me in disbelief. 

"Your car is crashed. I'm sorry.." I told him and he just shook his head. 

"No, don't be sorry. At least we are okay." He told me as he sqeezed my hand. The doctors wouldn't let me lay in the bed with him due to his leg being held up in a sling to the ceiling. I don't know how else to describe it. 

"Yeahh.." I trailed off. 

"How.. How did you cope with me being here?" He asked me, obviously worried that I may have hurt myself. I looked away and tried to keep my eyes anywhere but at him. I know, I know. I disappointed everyone. I did cut. It was just so hard with thinking that the one you love could be so close to death. 

"Koda?" He asked me again. I still didn't respond but he untangled his hand from mine and used it to bring my face to him. Still, I didn't look at him. "Koda please. Look at me." 

It took a little while but I slowly brought my eyes back to his. His eyes looked so hurtful and I instantly felt so bad. I disappointed him. That's what I get for not thinking for a couple of days. I felt a tear fall to my cheek but he quickly wiped it away. 

"Koda.. why?"  He asked me and I was happy that no one else was here. We still haven't called anyone and I knew that people were going to be so mad about it but I wanted some alone time with him. 

"I.. I don't know. Aleks, it was pr-probably everything all at once. It hit me like a ton of bricks, thinking that you could be so close to dying. I wasn't thinking and I was being completely stupid. Aleks, I-I'm so, so, s-so sorry." I broke down. I was crying into the side of the bed and he was just petting my hair, trying to comfort me. How could I be so stupid? I knew that I was going to disappoint everyone. The fans, Aleks, Eddie, the others. Everyone. I let everyone down. 

"Koda, all that matters is that you and I are here now. I don't care what happened while I was asleep. I love you." He told me as he kissed my temple. 

Today was the day that Aleks was able to come home. He was going to be in a wheelchair and that was going to be a lot of trouble since the apartment is two levels. Thankfully, his room is downstairs so we don't have to get him up the stairs. That would be a pain. Sadly, I feel like he was going to take advantage of his temporary disability. 

"You ready to go home?" I asked him and he quickly nodded. I laughed at his eager expression, sometimes he was just too cute. 

"Yeah I am! The only bad thing is that we won't be able to play any games at all." He said glumly. I nodded too. Games usually require two hands and sadly we each don't have to hands. This is going to be a long two months. 

Aleks and I were going to get our casts taken off today. We originally had gotten our casts off a couple of weeks ago but now we are going to get our strap on ones off. We just have to go to the Doc and see if we should get them off today. I'm sure that Aleks is happy that he will be able to walk and actually play games for his channel. Lately, we came up with the brilliant idea of doing update videos and doing videos where we each use one side of the controller and try to play, but that usually ended up in us raging and quiting. We played the original Slender, QWOP, and Minecraft. Some others too like Surgeon Simulater but yeah.
