Part 10

"Sooo, Aleks. Koda. What were you going to tell us after the recording?" Sly asked us shortly after we finished the recording and set a date for the net time. 

"I..I.. Aleks?" 

"Oh, um. Well. We were walking Rue earlier and this older couple, probably around 60 or 70, stopped us and the lady was all like, 'Oh Charles, don't they remind you of us?'

"And he was like, 'Yes June' and then June turned towards Koda and told her that I was a 'keeper'. After they left Koda and I kind of said something to each other." Aleks rushed out the last bit and you could see confusion cross all of the other's faces. Sly was the first one to get it though. 

"OH MY GAWD! You guys said 'I love you'!" Sly screamed and jumped in his seat. Puppy Chef jumped up from her spot on the bed because Sly had startled her. I just laughed at him. 

"Oh wow." Kevin said. 

"I'm happy for you guys!" Steven said. I blushed. 

"I can't wait to tease you when I come down to visit!" Kevin said. Oh greaaat. 

"Okay, thanks guys, but Rue and I are gonna hit the hay. Talk to you guys another time." I said as I left the call. I shut off my computer and decided that I could go surprise Aleks and Sly tomorrow morning. I think I'm going to head over really early. Like, 8 in the morning early. I'll bring them some food so they don't get mad at me, of course. 

I went to go take a shower and get ready for bed. As soon as I was done, I crawled into bed and cuddled with Rue. 

Rue woke me up by licking my face and my phone's alarm was going off. I quickly got up and put on some sweats and a sweatshirt. I put on a pair of my black converse and grabbed Rue's leash. I looked into the mirror and saw that I actually didn't look bad without any makeup. I suppose I looked healthier than I used to and that's a good thing. I put Rue on her leash and borrowed James' keys. I left a note for him and where to find me. I also left a $20 bill on the counter so he can treat himself to takeout. Yeah, I know. I'm a good cousin. 

Rue curled up in the backseat as I drove. I stopped at a Mickey-D's and got some breakfast for the boys. I got a milkshake while I got them some Frappes. I then proceeded to their apartment. 

Since Aleks and Sly had given me a key since I basically family, I walked in. Chef came and greeted us once we walked up the stairs. I let Rue off of his leash and he ran to Aleks' bedroom door. I guess he could smell his 'daddy'. I laughed at the green glow coming from his room. Sly and James were right. Aleks must be radioactive. 

I opened the door and Rue ran in. There was just enough light because of his blackout curtains that I could see Rue jump on the bed and start licking Aleks' face. Aleks groaned and turned away from Rue. 

"Aleeeekkkkss. Where's my radioactive boy?" I called. I saw Aleks lift his head off of his pillow and he groaned again. "Oh come on, Aleks. I've got food!" I yelled when I was by his head. 

"Food? Gimme da food!" He jumped up and I laughed. 

"Aleks. It's in the kitchen and save some for me and Sly. Oh, and DON'T TOUCH MY MILKSHAKE." I called after him. He laughed and Rue followed after him. Natalie must've went back to her home because there was no sign of her. 

I walked into Sly's room and found him asleep on the computer with Minecraft up. He's a strange child. "Sly?" I said while poking him. "SLY!" I yelled and he jumped out of his chair and landed on the floor. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh, sorry." He said while blushing. "What's up?" 

"I brought food and felt like I should annoy you."
