Annabeth Chase
Percy said something but Annabeth didn't couldn't tell what he said. Her ears were ringing and her vision was blurring.
"Annabeth!" Percy yelled, "Take down that hellhound!" Annabeth turned around only to see a hellhound lung at her.
Annabeth ducked and the dog flew over her head and slammed into the wall with a sickening crack. The hound whimpered, slowly standing up on its four paws. Annabeth drew her knife and attacked the hound the same time it lunges for her neck. Annabeth rolled to the side and cut the dogs on the upper front leg. The dog growled and slid softly into the wall before attacking again. The hellhound ran at her and pounced, she let the dog jump, as it jumped it must've misjudge the width of the hallway because once again it hit the wall with a crunch. The dog whimpered and stayed down. Annabeth moved over to hound and looked at it. It's eyes were huge and sad as if it knew its fate. Annabeth thought for a moment to let it survive but she thought otherwise. She brought her knife down to the nape of the neck and killed the dog. The dog vanished into golden dust the same time the Minotaur was killed.
Annabeth wiped the golden ichor of her knife onto the hem of her shirt. "I'm getting sick of that guy." Percy sighed also cleaning off Riptide the same way Annabeth cleaned off her knife.
Annabeth looked down the hallway, "Lets start heading back." She said making Percy follow her closely.
Annabeth looked at the beginning of the endless hallway, the candle was floating at the end, but the further they walked that way, the further the candle got from them.
"Stop, there's no point. We're stuck." Percy sighed, opening a blue door. Percy gasped and spoke again, "Oh ouch, that hurts." He said blinking away."
"What?" Annabeth asked coming behind him looking at what he was seeing. Bright light flooded her vision as she also had the same reaction Percy had. Once her eyes adjusted Annabeth gasped in joy.
"Its mortals! Percy we can get out of here! We..." Annabeth got really excited, the gears in her head started turning, she opened another door and saw the same thing. "Percy! Percy! These doors lead to the mortal world! We just have to find the one that leads to Greece and bam! We're out of here! We can live! We can make it! We can survive Tartarus! We just need to go and open doors until we find one that leads to Greece. We can make it. Percy! Percy! It's going to work!" Annabeth ran hurrying around the hallway opening and closing doors.
"Annabeth! Wait!" Annabeth closed a door and waited for Percy. "Annabeth..." Percy was panting. She hadn't realized that she had opened and closed so many. "Annabeth, opening and closing all of these doors is senseless, if they lead to the mortal world then every single place in the world has a door. Every single country, state, and city!"
Annabeth froze and looked at Percy, "Well Greece is old! So we just need to look at all of the old doors! It's simple Percy!" Annabeth got excited again jumping, opening and closing does that looked old. "You see Percy, we also need to find the Doors of Death, and the doors of death should be the only open door out there so it should be easy to spot! Oh, oh, oh, this is also how the monsters get into the mortal world! They find one of these doors and they go to that part of the world!" Annabeth started ranting again. She was on a roll, things were clicking in her head as if she'd knew this all along. Annabeth ran down the hallway and found a door that looked fairly old and had a Omega on it. Annabeth crossed her fingers when she opened the door. She gasped and felt tears run down her face.
"Percy...come here." Annabeth said as she called for him. She was still staring at the circle of cabins and the hearth in the middle. She listened to Percy's foot steps as he stepped closer to her.
"Camp Half-Blood." Percy whispered as he saw what Annabeth was seeing. "Home." He muttered.
Annabeth missed camp, she missed the three months she had spent dating Percy at camp, and she missed their walks on the beach and their underwater kisses. She dearly missed her half-sisters and half-brothers and she missed the annoying Stoll brothers. Annabeth sighed longingly at the camp before shutting the door.
"Enough of that." Annabeth said. She had thought for a moment, what if they could just walk through that door and be done with this quest and leave the rest of the demigods (plus satyr) to defend for themselves.
"Come on Annabeth, lets keep looking." Percy beckoned for her.
Annabeth followed him and opened a black door with paint chipping off of it. She froze after the door swung opened on its own. She turned to Percy who was three doors down (A/N:: Haha Three Doors Down, Love them) from her.
"Percy!" Annabeth yelled, Percy ran towards her quickly coming to her side.
"Holy Hephaestus, what is that?" Percy question, wrapping his arms around Annabeth's waist.
Annabeth felt chills up her back, but they weren't bad chills, they were good chills. "It's nothing." Annabeth answered Percy's question.
"Nothing is nothing." Percy said grinning into Annabeth's shoulder.
"Percy---." Annabeth was cut off by two, tall, thin figures as they pushed each of them into a wall. The figures stepped back leaving the demigods stunned.
The figures faces and bodies were cover in long hoods and cloaks. Annabeth stood wide-eyed as the figures began to talk over on another saying things that Annabeth couldn't understand. Eventually they stopped and reached a spot where they both spoke the same words at the same time.
"Hello demigods, we are here to lead you to the Doors of Death, the doors of Greece." The figures then started walking, Annabeth had no other choice but to follow them so she did and so did Percy.

First off this chapter would be longer but, Wattpad decided to delete my work and it was nearly done, so I had to retype it. FYI I am on my iPod because I am at the beach and I don't have an accessible computer. So yeah...I'm back home on Saturday so yeah. Three updates in two days! And if your lucky enough one later tonight or early tomorrow! Until then....
FYI I did edit it so that's why it's bold :)
Xoxo,
