Chapter Eleven- Annabeth Chase

Annabeth Chase

She looked at Nico who was grinning, "Annabeth I have good news." She turned her head and Annabeth listened awaiting the news they all knew was coming, ''Percy isn't dead."

No words could describe what she was feeling. Nothing could, she was on overdrive, her mind was turning and gears were moving. She was compensating how Percy had managed to survive and where he was.

"He went though one of the doors!" Annabeth yelled out all of a sudden standing up in her chair and pacing around the room.

"What do you mean?" Hazel asked, nudging Frank slightly.

"Well...the...first off monsters don't just appear or get summoned. There are these doors, endless doors that lead to every part of the world! Every single part! Every city, country, county, providence, continent! Anywhere! We just need to fi---." Annabeth was cut off, by a yelled coming from two feet beside her. It was a yell she knew so well.

"Annabeth!" It was Percy, she swiveled her head to the side looking into the Iris Message.

"Where are you?" Annabeth questioned, crossing her arms.

"I don't know! I panicked and opened a random door! There was this huge army coming at me from the other side so I took her nearest door and I ended up in...Athens!" Percy turned his head, "I can see the Parthenon."

"That settles it. We're going to Athens." Leo said.

"Stay where you are. We'll be there." Frank said, ending the IM.

"Well, looks like we're headed to Athens. I'll tell Festus the location." Leo said before walking to the Captain's quarters.

It took them about three days to reach Athena from Epirus. They only faced a few minor delays. Including a seven headed hydra.

"Piper, how much longer?" Annabeth asked, she was getting anxious. She had a few choice words for Percy Jackson that's for sure. It wasn't some nice, 'Oh my gods in glad your okay!' It was more like, 'I going to kill you and rip off your head.' Kind of words.

"About three hours." Piper said, "I can feel your emotions Annabeth, Percy wouldn't appreciate it if you ripped off his head." Piper said with a slight grin.

Annabeth returned the smile, "I know. But he deserves it. He could have died, why didn't Leo close them. He doesn't have anybody, he's worthless." Annabeth just realized what she had, she threw her hands over her mouth. She didn't mean to say that, she didn't wasn't even thinking that how could she saw that.

"Is that what you really think of me? Just the seventh wheel? I should be dead? Is that what you want because it can happen Annabeth Chase." Leo said, he was fuming with anger and hurt.

"I didn't mean it! I wasn't even controlling myself!" Annabeth protested, Piper stood next to Annabeth in utter shock. Not believing a word either demigods was saying.
