Just so you know I wrote this story when I was 11 and it is cringey af, I would've unpublished it but it gets views and each view gives me validation. And I know I shouldn't look for validation in others but makes me feel less shit about myself... Wow that got real.

Anyways, I've made this disclaimer, so if you die from my preteen stupidity It's not my problem.

This is my first Wattpad story so no mean comments! Though I don't think anyone's gonna read it heh.

Star's POV

Me and Marco walked to our lockers. "So I told Ferguson that that the costume looked stupid and he said that chicks dig guys in gorilla costumes so-" he was telling me until he saw his crush Jackie Lynn Thomas. "Hey star! Hey Marco!" She said.

"Hi Jackie!" I said waving. Marco didn't say anything he just blushed and waved like a robot. Jackie laughed and skated away. "If you like her that much just ask her out!" Marco looked at me like I was a mental person. "Ask her out? Star are you crazy!" I told him about the article I read in this weeks edition of 'Girly Gossip' it said you should seize the moment and ask them out there and then. "Ah Star let me share with you some of my wisdom" Marco said,"You see, if you ask them out without knowing of they like you or not  you only have 50% luck. If you are patient however, you'll will know when it's time therefore boosting your luck to 100%!"

"Where'd you get that from 'Nerd Magazine'!" I joked.

"No!" Marco said angrily,"Well maybe- but that's not the point!" I laughed at my nerdy friend. Then the bell rang if it could speak English it would say "Time to go to your boring classes!"

Ugh! I forgot we had  maths with Miss Skullnick! Could life get any worse? "Today we have a pop quiz," Miss Skullnick said in her usual dull voice. Yes, yes it could. She handed it out to everyone, when she got to my desk I almost fainted when I saw it. There were at least 6000 pages! And I'm not joking! When I looked up everyone was busy working. I looked at the first question and I had no clue what the answer was. I looked at Marco, he's cute when he's concentrating. Wait, whaa! Did I just think that? Any who, I tapped his shoulder. You see, I have a special way making people help me. I just say nice things about them and they help me just like that!" Hey Marco, how's my most bestest friend in this whole dimension?" 

"No, I can't help you with your test," Marco said bluntly. How did he know? 

"Awwwww please!" I begged. He opened his mouth to say something but he was stopped by Miss Skullnick. "Marco Diaz are you cheating!" She spat in his face.

"Whoa you need a breath mint!" Marco muttered.

"What was that?" 

"Nothing, hey do you wanna lollipop?" Marco said pulling out a red lollipop from the pocket of his hoodie.

"LOLLIPOPS I hate lollipops!" She shouted in Marco's face,"And because of that you get detention!" 

"Detention?!" Marco echoed,"But I've never had detention before!" I suddenly felt bad for him; A: Because safe kids never get detention and B: It was partly my fault. "Wait, Miss Skullnick it's my fault, I was cheating so you should give me detention." Miss Skullnick opened her mouth to say something and for a second I thought she was going to let Marco off. "Oh is that so? Well enjoy detention love birds!" I felt my cheeks go pink when she said that. As if Marco could read my thoughts he said "Love birds, what does that mean?"

"Don't you know the whole school ships you guys." Miss Skullnick said

"Oh believe me we know(!)" I muttered to myself. Literally the whole school thinks me and Marco should be a couple. But I never thought ol' Skulzie ships! Maybe we really should be a couple then... Naaaaahhhhhhhh! Me and Marco are friends and that's all we'll ever be, right? Suddenly the bell rang which made me jump to the moon and back. So that's one lesson over and 7 more to go.
