Awake

Jack's POV

     I'm still sitting here at the controls, approaching the Doctor's location. I hear a slight groan, and I turn back and see her stirring. With any luck, she's waking up!

Calliope's POV

     I sit up quickly and instantly regret it. I lay back down until the world stops spinning, then I slowly sit back up. I look around, and realize I'm not in my TARDIS. I don't know where I am. The man, Captain Jack Harkness, kneels down beside me, with a look of concern on his face. There's something else there, too. Something I can't pinpoint.

     "Are you okay? Why do you have a TARDIS? Where are you from? What's your name?" All of these questions are just too much. I put my hands up and say,

     "Hold on. Just, hold on. Let me stand up first before you begin asking me questions." I go to stand up, and as I finally get my two feet under me, the world turns topsy-turvy. The ground reaches for me, and I find that I fell right into Jack's arms. Crap. I can't let him know that I enjoy any of this. I simply yank myself out of his grasp, and growl, "I can stand on my own, thank you very much." He holds his hands up and says with a smirk,

     "Just trying to help. You would have hit the ground otherwise." I try not to blush and say,

     "Well, thanks." He grins at me.

     "So, now will you answer my questions?" I sigh and say

     "Fine. Yes, I'm okay. My name is Calliope. And I'm pretty sure you know why I have a TARDIS." He looks like he wants to say something. "What?" I ask, "Something's on your mind, what is it?" He simply asks me,

     "Do you know The Doctor?"
