Jack's POV
I have no idea how long I've been asleep. I just know that the ship has landed. Immediately, I am worried that Calliope took off. I yank my trousers on and run to where she slept. She is sitting up, awake and alert. She looks at me and blushes,
"Some outfit you've got!" She teases. I look down and see that I have trousers on. Only trousers. No shirt. That must have been why she was blushing. I grin and say,
"Do you like it?" She smiles back,
"Yes, I do. It suits you." I chuckle and run back and yank a shirt over my head. I go back to the other room and see that she is standing and stretching. "So," she asks, "How old are you, anyway?" I answer her,
"Not sure. I was born in the year 5094, and I've been skipping around so many years and planets. So, in some ways I'm young, others I'm old. How about you? How old are you?"
"Age and time is a confusing thing, Captain Jack Harkness. Some worlds would consider me 22, others, 907 years old. To be quite honest with you, I don't know how old I am." Her mind is elsewhere, and her eyes stare off in the distance. "There was one point when I knew my age, but I no longer know. Time is a funny thing, Captain Jack Harkness. Very funny indeed."
