The Last Time Lady

Back to Earth

Calliope's POV

     Back to Earth. Super. As soon as the TARDIS lands, we all step into the bright midday sun. Something feels weird. Not a good weird, either. I decide to check things out.

     "Hey, Rose, will you come with me? I need to find a bathroom." She smiles at me.

     "Sure. Doctor, Jack, you two should be fine by yourselves, right?" The Doctor doesn't even look at her. He just stares off into space.

     "Uh huh. Be careful, though."

     "Always." So we walk down a narrow path into a town.

     "Well, Rose, where do you think we are?" She looks around.

     "I...have no idea. Look! There's a building, maybe we can look there!" I nod.

     "Okay." The strange feeling gets stronger as we approach the building. As we enter it, I can feel it. Something is definitely wrong. We leave the door slightly ajar, and walk in. "Rose, something is wrong. I don't know what it is...but we're not alone."

     "I know." Suddenly, the door slams shut. A loud voice booms,

     "Hold still. Rose Tyler, hand over the Time Lady, and you won't get hurt. Neither will your precious Doctor." I can feel my cheeks get hot. Her Doctor? He's my Doctor. I take a step back and feel something cold and metal press against two spots in my back. Guns. Over both of my hearts. I can't regenerate if both of my hearts are destroyed. Who does this person think he is? I whirl around, hands on my hips.

     "And just who do you think you are? Holding two girls hostage with guns. You should be ashamed." He has cropped blond hair and brown eyes. He's handsome. Which frustrates me even more. He just watches me. "Well? Who are you?" He gives me an evil grin and turns to one of his guards.

     "Escort Miss Tyler out of here." Two guards grab her by the arms, and drag her out, her screaming the entire time.

     "Don't tell the Doctor! Tell him I got lost!" She gives me a wild look before she's dragged out the door. I turn to the man and shout, "I will ask you one more time. Who are you? What are you? And what do you want with me?" He turns in a slow circle and chuckles.

     "My name is Sabiro. I am from the planet Pyole. I am the leader of the race of Pyolites. And what I want with you." His guards have me by the arms. Sabiro strolls up to me and grabs my chin. "Absolutely nothing. You're simply the bait. I want your little boyfriend. Captain Jack Harkness."
