Exiting his room Hoodie started down the old staircase.
Entering the kitchen he found Toby stuffing his face with normal sized marshmallows. "...didn't you ask Masky to get those for Hot Chocolate?"
Toby nodded and continued. He didn't eat them, only stuffed them in his cheeks (as best he could that is).
Not bothering to ask, Hoodie shook his head and exited the room, going into the living room. Sitting down in a chair pushed in the corner Hoodie smiled down at his hands as he rubbed them together, remembering how Jack's fingers lightly slid along ever crack and fold in them.
It had already been a few days since getting home. He knew it would take Jack a little longer then two days to get back to his house so Hoodie waited patiently for his call.
Toby skipped into the room and stopped in front of the yellow hooded proxy. Looking up at him Hoodie watched as Toby held up his fingers as marshmallows almost poured out of his mouth, his cheeks puffed out with the amount he had stuffed in his mouth.
"I don't think you have one marshmallow in your mouth kid."
Toby switched his fingers.
"Damn Toby, your going to be sick. Ten marshmallows, seriously?"
The curly haired teen jumped up and down excitedly, flapping his arms while his honey brown eyes beamed. Shaking his head again Hoodie pointed back at the kitchen. "Don't stay near me, I don't want to be around when you spit all of that out." Toby covered his mouth as he began laughing, doing his best not to. Disgusted Hoodie quickly left the room and went back upstairs.
As he went up the steps he decided he needed to talk to Masky, to tell him about Jack. Feeling nervous Hoodie knocked in his friends door.
"Come in Hoodie!" Masky called from the other side. Stepping in he found Masky surrounded by documents and cassettes, their insides pulled out and laying all around the still masked proxy.
Going over and sitting on the edge of Masky's bed Hoodie picked at his nails.
Masky looked up from his reading and could tell Hoodie was uneasy about something. "What's up?"
Hoodie swallowed. "I uh,. Gotta tell you something."
Setting his papers aside Masky turned so his body was directed to Hoodie, giving the currently massless proxy all his attention.
"I ah,.. Uhh," Hoodie cleared his throat and forced himself to continue. "Err,... I have a boyfriend."
Masky sat quietly behind his mask. Hoodie would not dare look over.
"What are you thinking?" Hoodie flinched and stood up hurt. "You know the Operator will be pissed as soon as he finds out your dating another person."
"So,.. You don't care that it's a guy?"
Masky sighed and got off his bed. Taking off his mask he focused his dark eyes on Hoodie. "I'm just hurt you didn't tell me."
Stuffing his hands in his pockets Hoodie hung his head.
"How long have you two been dating..?" Masky asked with a sigh.
"About two weeks by now."
"And who is he?"
Hoodie didn't respond, or at least not fast enough.
"Hoodie, I need to know so we can protect him front the Operator."
Hoodie laughed. "Oh, I don't think the Operator's going to hurt him."
