7- Suga vs Him

"It's getting colder..." You moan as you pull your jacket around you tighter. Suga chuckled, and placed an arm around you, pulling you closer to him. You blushed, looking the opposite direction so he couldn't see your face.
"Y/N..." He whispered, making you turn towards him. His face was mere centimetres from yours.
"Hey, Yoongi!" You laughed as he suddenly tickled you, causing you to almost slip off the park bench, but he caught you and picked you up bridal style.
"What are you doing?!" You laughed, as he just grins at you.
You smile as he carries you home... You enjoyed being with Suga. He was an amazing person, not to mention one of your best friends - you couldn't live without him.

"Hey! We're home!" Yoongi, shouted, as we stepped through the door.
"Hi!" A call shouted from the lounge. "Did you have a nice time with your girlfriend?" Sniggers could be heard, and you blushed hard, as did Suga.
"Shut up..." Suga laughed nervously, and the others did a double take when they saw you.
"Sorry Y/N! We didn't realise you came too, we were just kidding around hehehe," V smiled, and you just shook your head laughing. Your attention was drawn to the quiet boy in the corner, the only one not talking. You made eye contact, and looked away. Why did your heart beat so fast when you look at him?

"Come on, we're hungry, we've been waiting for you," Rapmon smiled, and we went into the kitchen. Suga sat next to you, and throughout the meal he'd keep poking you, or attempt to feed you, or just generally have your attention. Whilst laughing and hitting Yoongi playfully, out of the corner of your eye you could see him watching you, but you couldn't read the expression on his face. It was sort of... Sad. You suddenly didn't feel like eating.

~the next day~
You were back at the BTS dorm again, because Yoongi said he wanted to take you out. You agreed, and were waiting in the lounge. Suddenly, he walked in. He stopped when he saw you.
"Hey..." His voice. You loved his voice.
"Hi..." You smiled tentatively, and he grinned.
"Here so early?" He chuckled, and you nodded, still smiling. He was so handsome, and cute, and your heart was fluttering...

"Y/N!" Suga came bounding into the room. He came over and gave you a hug, before taking your hand. You didn't notice it at first, because your eyes were on him, as you watched his grin vanish. "Let's go, Y/N!" Yoongi dragged you out, as you and him continued to stare at each other until you were out of the room. Why were you so conflicted?

~time skip~
"Today has been great, right?" Suga said softly, and you nodded grinning.
"Thank you for today," you smiled, and he just chuckled. "Anything for you..."
"Y/N."
You turned to face him. "Yeah?"
"I...I don't know how to say this but... I love you, and you mean so much to me I can't explain. Your smile, your presence, your voice, your personality, everything about you makes me happy. Will you be my girlfriend?"

You stared at him in shock. His hopeful face looked at you; you could see he was biting his lip in nervousness. Suga was your best friend, and you couldn't let him down, could you? And, you kind of liked him, and you knew he'd be the most caring and loving boyfriend. I can't let him down... You thought.
"Yoongi... I'd love to be your girlfriend."
His face broke out into a grin as he wrapped his arms around you, and you grinned. He was pretty amazing, so there shouldn't be any troubles...

"Hey!" Yoongi grinned, as you and him walked into the lounge to greet the others.
"Why so happy?" Rapmon narrowed his eyes, and Suga blushed while holding up your intertwined hands. There were gasps but no one was very surprised, you two were close anyway.
"Congrats!"
"How cute!"
But you could only focus on one thing. His face when he saw that you were now with Suga.

~time skip - 2 months later~

It's been two months since Yoongi and you started dating. He was the most caring and sweet boyfriend anyone could wish for, buying you little presents, taking you out for meals and shopping, making time for you in his busy schedule - he kept you happy.
You were all relaxing in the lounge; the boys had just returned from the studio and you had made some food for them.
"Here you go!"  You cheerily said, walking into the room with a big tray. There were eager cheers and laughing, and you couldn't help but join in.
"Smells good!" V laughed, and you thanked him.
Suddenly, he stood up. Your heart started to beat faster. Stop, you thought. I have a boyfriend.
"I'm... I have to.. I have to leave for a while."
People stopped eating.
"What do you mean?"
"Why!"
"What?"
He just sighed. "I have some family issues I have to take care of... I don't know when I'll be back. I'm sorry."
You gasped, your chest tightening and your eyes getting blurry from tears. He was looking straight at you with an unreadable expression. You quickly placed the tray on the table and walked out, slipping on your shoes and leaving the dorm.

"Y/N!" You turned around to see Suga running up to you. "What happened? Are you alright?" He put a hand to your cheek, looking concerned.
"I'm fine," you smiled as much as you could muster. "Just need some fresh air..."
He didn't look convinced but he nodded and took your hand in his, the two of you walking in a comfortable silence.

~time skip - airport~

You were at the airport, waiting for his flight. Suddenly the speaker sounded, signalling that his gate was open and ready to board. You hadn't spoken a word since morning; you were too upset but trying not to show it. Why were you like this?
He gave all his members hugs and byes, as they patted him on the back and told him to come back soon. He then paused, standing in front of you. You looked up at his handsome features, his sad smile and kind eyes. You could see Suga watching you both out of the corner of your eye.
The boy in front of you hesitated, before wrapping his arms around you, pulling you into his embrace. It was then that you realised tears were running down your cheeks. He quickly let go, and turned away, speed walking to the gate.

"Don't go..." 
You thought you'd whispered it quietly enough, but your boyfriend heard you.
"Y/N, go after him."
"What?!" You exclaimed, startled.
Suga just sighed. "I see the way you both look at each other...  I don't want to be in the way anymore."
"Yoongi..." You started to say, but realised there was nothing you could say. He smiled slightly.
"It's okay, I still love you but I'm willing to let you go, I know you'll be happy with him. Now go tell him before he boards!"
You hugged him tightly, and sprinted in the direction when he was. You could see him turning the corner... If he went through there was no way you'd be able to speak to him, and you knew you wouldn't be able to run that quickly. You drew in a big breath of air....
"JEON JUNGKOOK!"

Many people stopped and turned to look at you, but you didn't care, because he heard you. He heard you, and was running up to you.
"Y/N..." He said breathlessly as he reached you.
"Jungkook... I'm sorry.... Don't go..." You sniffed, and he wrapped his arms around you.
"I love you, Y/N. I just didn't say anything because..."
You nodded, understanding. You smiled, and kissed his soft lips, giggling at his surprised face.
"What about Suga hyung...?" He stuttered, and you shook your head. "He understands... He's the one who told me to shout you." You smile, and he grinned back before embracing you once again.
"It's you, it's always been you..." You whispered, as your foreheads touched. He smiled.
"I have to go now, but take care... I'll be back as soon as I can, okay?" He cupped your face and you nodded, as he placed another kiss on your lips and waved bye.
"Wait for me Y/N!" He said one last time, before waving and going through.
You smiled. "I will always wait for you Jungkook."
