CHAPTER 15 : This mean war!

Previously :

"Well... Thor left his hammer in the elevator earlier while going out with Clint to discover a little bit more the city... and the elevator doesn't want to go up anymore, on the contrary, he got down when I wanted to go up... and now I'm stuck down in the lobby."

Allyson didn't even try to hide her laughter at Tony situation, while Loki had a funny smile on his face.

 "Hey! It's not funny!" Pouted Tony on the other line.

 "You're right! It's not funny, it's hilarious!" Answered Allyson still laughing.

 There was silent on the line, and Allyson finnaly calmed herself.

 "Why don't you take the stairs?" She asked him.

 ''Me? Taking the stairs? You have a lot of imagination Allyson." He responded and Allyson could totally see him facepalming in her head.

 "Bye Tony."

"No wai-" She pressed the 'end call' button before placing her Iphone on the nightstand beside the bed.

   "So where were we?"

Now :

Allyson cursed herself. She was late at work and the worst, she had a meeting, which started 1o minutes ago. She woke up early like every morning, but her lover had lured her in staying in bed 'only for a couples of minutes'. Yeah right. And now because of that, she was running in the snow, trying to not slide and fall, to the S.H.I.E.L.D base.

Even as she entered the door to the bulding she didn't slow down and decided to take the stair, knowing that she would lose too much time waiting for the elevator to arrive. Panting, she finnaly found herself in front of the meeting room door. Crounching down, she took a minute to get her breathing back, smoothed her hairs and opened the door.

Everybody eyes turned toward her, but she acted like if nothing but felt pretty embarrassed from the inside, because it was the first time that she ever was late to work. Walking with her head down, she damned the world when she saw that the only free place at the table was beside none other than... Steve.

Looking up at the other, her gaze stopped on Tony who was wiggling his eybrows in a suggestive manner. Fury seeing this, slapped the back of his head and continued the meeting like nothing. It was after all her first time coming late at work, and he forgave her for this time and this time only.

The meeting over, Allyson flew from her chair and away from Steve, but Steve being.... Steve, he didn't think to much of it and ran after her. Him being the super soldier he was, got to her in no time, blocking her way.

«Hey.» He greeted her to which she anwered with an almost inaudible 'hey'.

Allyson tried to look anywhere else than at him, but it was somewhat difficult with him so close to her, his muscular chest right in front of her, his shirt embracing his muscular bo- No! She was mentally hitting herself to stop thinking in such a way f him.

Seeing how she kept her head down, Steve got worried.

«Are you alright?» He anxiously asked her, delicatly taking her chin in his hand to observe her for whatever sign of sme sickness or anything of that type.

Sweetly smiling at him, she took his hand from her chin, holding it in her hand.

«I'm alright thank you.» She rassured him.
