Anna stepped on solid land for the first time in two life-changing weeks. The land stunk of waste and rum, but the people were lively and celebrating some sort of festival. The stench was quickly canceled by merry music floating through the air along harmonizing with hearty laughing.

Anna felt a large hand on the small of her back and her breath hitched when she saw it was the captain,

"Stay close to me, lass. This ain't a good time and place for a popsy to be alone."

Anna nodded as Kenway led her further into the crowd of dancing, drunk townspeople. Most of the Jackdaw crew faded into the crowd since Kenway had dismissed them, and Anna realized that Adawalé and Keyway were her only protection. Some of the drunk men in the crowd looked her up and down, and some cat-called her. Kenway silenced them with a glare that would make some men drop dead, and Anna subconsciously gripped the handle of her sword sheathe.

The trio of pirates approached a tavern built up on some steps and Kenway ordered his two companions a drink when a gruff pirate spoke from behind them to Kenway,

"Well well well, if it isn't the captain of the little birdy brig himself!"

"Benjamin Hornigold! As I live and breathe!" exclaimed Kenway.

"Good to see ya still in one piece, brother. Come an' sit with Kidd and Rackam an' me."

Anna and Adawalé awkwardly shuffled behind Kenway with their drinks as they approached a table with two other pirate captains. Adawale and Anna sat down on either side of Kenway.

One of the pirate captains, a woman, looked at Anna suspiciously,

"Whose this new fish of yours, Kenway? " She asked.

Anna suddenly noticed all eyes at the table were on her. Anna became suddenly annoyed at this woman's lack of respect, speaking as if she wasn't there.

Instead of wating for Kenway to explain, Anna answered the question herself,

"My name's Anna Freeman. Captain Kenway rescued me from a English frigate. I'm sailing with him now."

The woman nodded at Kenway with surprised look then held out a hand to Anna,

"I'm James Kidd. Pleasure ta meet ya."

This is a man?! No.. I don't buy it. Not for one second.

After Anna was introduced to the flirty Captain Jack Rackam, the large Captain James Hornigold, and this not-so-secret woman Captain 'James Kidd', the pirates began to talk business, explaining what they had been up to lately.

Anna was fascinated with all of the captain's sea stories, and found the company enjoyable as they talked long into dusk surrounded by sweet music and the breeze floating through the palm trees.

She laughed with the pirates as they told about their unbelievable adventures as she filled her belly with drink and food.

A beautiful readheaded waitress filled Rackem's mug and he eagerly pulled her into his lap and began breathing seductively against her cheek,

"Anything interesting going on in Nassau that we should know about, beautiful?"

The waitress giggled, then whispered to him in a thick Irish accent,
"There's some fancy, rich-like bounty hunter staying at The Silver Anchor tonight named Beaufort somebody, or somebody Beaufort."
She whispered.

"Jesus fuckin Christ. That's Aaron Beaufort! I thought I saw his ship in the docks."
Slurred Jack Rackem, slamming his drunken fist down on the table.
