Black. Lahat sila nakablack. Ako lang ang naiiba. Actually, kaming dalawa pala. White is her favorite color. So we're both wearing a very beautiful white dress. It looks like we're going to our wedding. But it's not. It's for her death. Her funeral.
Thinking about it actually makes me laugh. Promise namin dati sabay kaming ikakasal. Kasi hindi naman kami magkapatid so hindi kami yari sa sukob. But look who broke their promise and left me alone.
Watching my bestfriend buried six feet underground makes me want to shovel her out. But I can't. It's not possible. I don't want to disturb her eternal sleep because if I do, she would really kick my ass. If that would happen.
"Ate, what happened to Ate Kelly? Bakit those people takpan lupa Ate Kelly? And bakit you iyak?" Inosenteng sabi ng kapatid ko. Nandito kami sa kotse habang hinihintay namin si Mommy. Ashley is actually just 7 years old. So technically, she is still a baby. At 'di ko alam ko anong isasagot ko sa tanong niya.
"Ash, Ate Kelly is actually hiding there and she would sleep there for a million of years until somebody would find her. And you know Ate Kelly, she is so tamad." Sabi ko na ikinatawa naman ni Ashley. Sorry bestie. "So don't tell anybody where Ate Kelly hiding, ok?" Sabay tango niya naman. Ang cute talaga ng batang to.
Mom and Ashley would be the last thing that I don't want to lost from me. They are very important to me. They are the reason why I'm still living. And if anything happen to them, I swear I'm gonna kill myself. I can't afford to lost someone again.
Nang dumating na si Mom ay umuwi kaagad kami. Nagmukmok lang ako buong magdamag sa kwarto. I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Ilang beses ng tumatawag sina Ryuu pero hindi ko sinasagot. I don't want to talk with somebody right now.
Bigla kong naisip 'yong papel na binigay sa akin ng pulis sa crime scene. Kinuha rin nila 'yon kaagad pero alalang-alala ko pa kung ano ang nakasulat doon.
Dear Alice, She Betrayed. -Mad Hatter
I don't know what that letter means. O kung sino si Alice or that Mad Hatter. Is the killer fond of Alice in Wonderland? And who the heck would name himself 'Mad Hatter'?. He is stupid! Why? Because he kill my bestfriend. I don't know what's his motive but I know it's useless because she is already dead. I'm going to find that Mad Hatter, remind that. I will find you. Shit. I'm crying again. Damn this tears.
I just close my eyes at 'di ko namalayan nakatulog na pala ako.

I know I shouldn't supposed to go to school right now because I should grieving for my bestfriend death. Pero wala rin naman akong gagawin dito sa bahay kung magmumukmok lang ako and beside I don't want to skip some classes dahil ayaw 'yon ni Kelly.
"Are you really going to school? Ok ka na ba?" 100 times na yatang tanong ng mom ko. "Mom, ok na nga ako. Tsaka kung magiistay man ako dito wala rin naman akong gagawin. Aalis pa kayo ni Ashley kaya sa school nalang ako. Nandoon naman ang barkada eh." 100 times ko na ring atang sagot sa kanya.
"Kung ganon, ihahatid nalang kita."
"'Wag na ma. Nasa labas na rin kasi si Ryuu." Nagpaalam nalang ako kina Mom at Ashley.
