Chapter 39- Telling the Lads

Chapter 39

Harry's pov-

Sunny was in the bathroom washing up, so I took this as an opportunity to tell the lads.

"Ok. So basically this is really personal for Sunny so please don't tell anyone." I said.

Everyone nodded they're head.

I took a deep breath before starting. "When I went out to see Taylor you all had no clue. So when the pictures were put on the news, Sunny saw them-"

"Yeah mate we know, we were there! Just get to the point!" Niall stated.

"Right. Well Sunny took it as I had found someone all around better then herself so she cut herself because she felt hopeless." I finished. I could feel my eyes start to water.

"Oh no mate! Nobody could ever replace her! She's perfect!" Zayn shouted.

"That's MY girlfriend were talking about lad." I said making sure I said "my" clear enough.

"Sorry..." He mumbled.

"Anyways, I still can't believe she would do that to herself." Liam said.

I nodded as I felt tears starting to slip out. I can't hold them back anymore.

I looked up to see Niall and Louis crying too.

"It's just hard to think about. I mean Sunny is part of our family and I just can't imagine her doing that." Niall said in between sobs.

"I know mate. I mean it's all my fault. I'm the reason she did this to herself. I have to fix this." I said.

There was a silence until Louis spoke up. "Is it just me or has Sunny also gotten fitter?"

I paused to think for a minute. I mean before I went to see Taylor she was pretty slim. But now, it's amazing that she has gotten even slimmer.

"Wow. I'd never noticed until now." I said.

The rest of the bunch nodded in agreement.

"She could be starving herself. We need to help her because she can't do that to herself if I ha-" I was cut off.

"That's not the case anymore." Said a small voice. I look up from my lap and across the room. Sunny.

"Hey love I didn't hear you come out." I said standing up.

"Why were y'all talking about me?" She asked.

"We were just talking about how worried I am about you love."

"What were you saying?" She asked again. The lads were all looking but staying silent.

I grabbed her hands in mine and looked at her as she looked to the ground. "They saw your scars Love. I was only explaining what happened. I only told because I care and I know that they care too. We won't let you do anything else to yourself Love." I said.

Sunny looked up and looked into my eyes. Her eyes were glossy as I could tell she was about to cry. A tear slipped out. It soon became more and more tears.

I wiped each and every tear away with my thumb. Sunny nodded in response to my explaining.

I pulled her in for a hug and felt her sob harder. Her tears were staining my shirt but I don't care.

I looked over to the lads and they were all tearing up as well. Sunny was their sister, knowing what she has done isn't going to be easy on her or any of us.

Authors note:

Hey y'all! I know this is a short chapter, but my family from across the country is here so I want to be spending time with them. I will try to update tomorrow but no promises. I definitely will on Wednesday.
