"When do you leave?" Kayden asks as I make dinner. Jessica and Dad left at lunch.
"In like, two weeks," I reply. "Why?"
"I don't want you to go.." He mumbles and hands me some sauce. I pour it into the pan and stir it.
"I know," I say and turn around. "But I'm starting college and I've gotta go before fall."
"But you'll be too far away." he complains. "Why can't you stay? Join college here or something."
"Because my mom says so." I retort, pointing the spoon at him. "Now try my food."
"If you insist..."I open my bedroom door and see black rose pedals all over my bed. I smile and cross my arms, then feel arms wrap around me.
"Why'd you do this?" I ask, and turn around.
"Because I'm drunk and want you to stay." He says and smiles.
"I was about to take a shower," I say. His grin widens.
"May I join?" He asks.
"No," I say, kissing his cheek. "Sit on my bed until I finish." He groans and lays on my bed, I go into the bathroom across the hall and turn on the warm water, then step in.
I peek in my room and hear his light snores, and tip toe to my dresser and pull out underwear, a bra, a shirt, and some shorts.
"Am I dreaming?" Kayden asks. "Please tell me I am."
"No, close your eyes!" I yell, my face goes red. He covers his eyes, and I quickly slip on my underwear and bra.
"Can I look now?" He yells.
"Fine!" I groan. "But no touching!" He lets his hand drop, and his jaw practically hits the floor. I quickly slip on the shirt. It's like a mini dress on me so I put the shorts away. "I found this box from yesterday, you never opened it."
My gift from Teddy. I swallow hard and slowly open it, I pull it out by the black silk stripes, and nearly die of embarrassment.
"Lingerie?" Kayden asks amused. Its a very small crimson silk dress with black lace around the edges. A note on the bottom catches my attention.
Anna♡
Don't get this messed up, it
was worth too much!! Have
fuuun with It!! ♡♡♡♡I hide my face as Kayden lifts it up. "This is hot," he simply says, straight faced. I think it sobered him up. "You should put it on."
"Not tonight, love." I take it from him and put it in my dresser. I turn around and see him behind me.
"Please?" He whispers. His hands rest on my waist. He lifts me up, and sits me on my dresser. His hands travel down my waist, and rest on my thighs. "Baby.."
He rests his forehead on mine, and reaches for the light, and turns it off. He kisses me slowly, yet roughly.
My hands find the inside of his shirt, and travel from his back to his chest. He pulls it off, and throws it. As he kisses my neck he slowly lifts my shirt and pulls it over my head. It falls to the floor, and his lips meet my neck again. He gets me to lean back against the wall, but as his lips touch my chest, I can't help but arch my back. He starts to undo my bra, and tosses it to the floor.
He carries us to the bed and lays over me, jeans off."What the fuck..." I hear. I roll over and feel Kayden's torso, and blush. "Anna... did we..?"
I nod and keep my face hidden. He sits up and I can't help but look at his chest. He grabs his shirt off the floor and hands it to me, I sit up and put my bra on, then his shirt. He takes my hand and kisses it.
"Was I drunk?" He asks me.
"Very," I nod and pull my hair up, my bangs fall free.
"You didn't stop me?" He asks.
"I didn't want to," I say.
"My head hurts..." he mumbles and stands up. He pulls on his jeans and walks out of the room. I get up and pull on some black shorts and a shirt, then go to the kitchen.
"Kayden has a hangover I'm guessing?" Dad asks.
"Yeppers.." I mumble.
"Where's the aspirin?" Kayden yells from the bathroom.
"Medicine cabinet!" Jessica yells. "You lost it."
"Excuse me?" I ask. She waits for dad to leave and grins.
"Y'all had sex last night!" She whispers. "I can't believe it!"
"How can you be so sure?" I ask, sipping some juice.
"Because you're sore." She says. "You're walking funny."
"Shut up!" I warn. "Kayden doesn't want anyone to know!" Kayden walks in shortly after that, and sits across from me and lays his head down. I tap his arm and offer my juice. He looks up at me and takes a drink, then sets his head back down.
"Hey everyone!" Dad yells.
"Ugh... shut up!" Kayden groans. Dad chuckles and pats his back.
"This ain't your first hangover and it surely won't be your last!"
"Dad." I warn. "Why don't we go to the living room?"
"Why?" He asks, not getting my hint. I slap my forehead and groan. Boy, he's stupid. My phone starts vibrating.
"Hello?" I answer, walking out on the back patio.
"You excited?" mom asks.
"For....?" I sit down on the couch out there and cross my legs.
"Leaving!" She yells. "Aren't you happy?"
"Not really..." I mumble.
"Anna," Mom says. "I'm already on my way."
"I don't want to leave!" I yell. "I want to stay and go to college here!"
"A small college?" She asks. "You're not going to college with a bunch of rednecks."
"Ill be taking online courses, mom!" I groan.
"No!" She says sternly. "Now goodbye." I close my eyes and sigh.
"You okay?" Kayden asks me. I dip my paintbrush in the brown and sigh.
"I am fine," I say. "Why?"
"Because your dad says that when you paint it means you're stressed."
I finish painting the tree trunk and add texture with clumps of brown and black. "I told my mom I wanted to stay."
"And..?" His voice is hopefull.
"She's on her way to get me." I say flatly. I wash the brush off and get some orange.
"Anna.." he says softly. He holds his hand on mine and gets me to set the brush down. "You're shaking."
"I'm trying to not have an anxiety attack." I correct and turn my music up. "Why are you up here, anyway?" He looks around on the walls, at all my paintings.
"These are amazing." He says in awe. "You did these?"
"All of them," I say. "I've been offered one million dollars to the one right there," I point to the painting I did when I was ten. "Bit I said no because my grandma wanted it at her funeral."
The painting is a tree up on a hill, it's lost it's leaves and there's snow all on the ground. Under the tree is a girl in a brown cloak, next to a grave.
"I can see why," he says. "Its beautiful." He spots a canvas in the corner covered up. "What's that?"
"A surprise." I say. "Ive been working on it since I've got here."
"When can I see it?" He asks.
"When I leave," I answer. "Until then, you can't."
"No fair." He complains. I shrug and put my paints away. He follows me down the stairs and into the living room.
"I've got a shadow!" I yell. I take off running out the back door and run down to the beach. He catches me as my feet hit the water. I smile and laugh as I try to break free.
He let's me go, and I run down the bank. The wind picks up, and I smile.
"Shorts and a long sleeve?" He asks with a smile.
"Its a Butterfly shirt, genius!" I tease. He smiles and pulls me into a hug. I close my eyes and smile. Then suddenly we're on the ground in the salty water. He smiles slightly and starts kissing me. I blush as his hands find the inside of my shirt and hold my waist.
We walk in the back door and I flash my teeth at Jessica ask she gasps. She hurrys and grabs two towels. I wrap myself in the warmth of it. Kayden peels off his shirt and goes into his room, then comes out with messy hair and some sweats. Hot, messy hair. I run up to my room and throw on some wind pants with a long sleeve shirt and walk into the living room. Dad and Kayden are on the Xbox. I shake my head and walk into the kitchen and help Jessica with dinner.
