"Sorry. Let me start over. My name is Tris Prior. I am a sophomore at Divergent High School. I am 15, live in Chicago, and have the best boyfriend, mom, dad, and brother EVER!!! My boyfriends name is Chance. My moms name is Natalie, my dads name is Andrew, and my brothers name is Caleb. I love them soooooooooooooooooo much!! Any ways, this teacher Mrs. Buzan is driving me crazy. She thinks she knows everything but she's just an old fart. That's right! I said it right! An old fart! Well got to get back to class.

I finish writing in my diary and continue in class. Calculus. I hate being advanced. What is the square root of 158 times the square root of 9837 plus... Screw it. Where's my iPod? I knew it was in my book bag just a little farther in my bag and... RIP!!!!! My bag just exploded in front of the entire class!!!!!! I feel the hotness instantly rush to my cheeks. "Um... Mrs. Buzan? Can I be excused?" I ask. "Sure I guess." She says in a very rude tone. I rush out like there's a fire. I bump into someone who I don't really know. But I do know this person. "Sorry" he mumbles, stopping my train of thought. We stand there awkwardly while I think, 'I've seen those eyes somewhere. Those beautiful gray blue eyes...' Then it hits me. "Toby?" I ask. "Tris?!" He says with both excitement and question on his voice. "I-It's you!" He says. I stand there just staring at him wondering if I should be happy to see my forever childhood friend I haven't seen in five years, or if I should be angry with what happened to split us apart. "It's me!" I say. He says he was doing something he needs to get back to so I say bye very awkwardly and let him go. Well that was probably the most mixed emotion moment of my life.
