Chapter 3

My first night with Drè was fun and all, but we kissed I still couldn't stop thinking about it. What would our mom's think about it, if they found out. I know it sounds like I'm taking things over board, but i don't know how my mom would take it. He's gay, I'm bi. I kept tossing and turning in my sleep I felt something around my waist, Drè still had his arms around me. I woke up and looked at him, he was resting his head on my lap, he looks so peaceful in his sleep. I tried to get up without waking him up then his grip tightened around me, he started mumbling in his sleep. I just sat up against the wall, he still had his arms around my waist holding on to me. It was 8:37 in the morning, the sun was barely uncovering itself I looked out the window and just watched the sun rise, Drè put his head in the middle of my lap and pulled me closer to him. I started rubbing his head and looking down at him, he just made my morning feel good. It's 8:45 now might as well go back to sleep, im not normally awake at this time, so I just lay back down and put my head back on Drè's chest and drifted off in sleep again.

"Adrian, Adrian wake up." Drè lightly shook me

"Mmm 5 more minutes"

"Get up Adrian it's time to eat"

I grumbled and opened my eyes, I had my arms around his waist and my head in his lap.

"Did you sleep well?"

"Yea why'd you have to wake me up though?"

"Because it's 12:38, did you like your first night here?"

"Yea I did, but I wanna sleep more."

"I can tell you're comfortable though"

"Hm?"

"Your arms are around me and you're laying in my lap" he lightly chuckled

"Oh my bad" I sat up

"It's cool" he smiled at me

"Well let me go brush my teeth and everything else so I'll be ready for the day" I said and walked in the bathroom. I looked in the mirror, damn I look a mess. I said to myself my hair messed up, I look like a monster damn near. I did my morning stuff went out the bathroom and Drè was standing up.

"Good morning handsome"

"Oh so now you wanna say that when I got myself fixed up?"

"No I was just saying it now because you seem to be more awake"

"You're right"I laughed "where are your clothes at boy, you're just in boxers?"

"You're saying that like you don't wanna see me like this" he wasn't lying I couldn't help but let my eyes explore his body.

"Just go put some clothes on Drè"

"We went to sleep like this remember?"he said smirking and running one of his hands down his chest.

"I never seen you though, remember you was covered up" I turned around and looked in the bathroom making sure I got everything. He walked up behind me put grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him, "maybe you should of looked" I walked out his hands.
"Maybe you should of went and let your momma know that we'll be down in a few minutes to eat" I said smiling

"You're right, I'll let her know now actually" he grabbed a shirt and shorts, threw them on and went out the door. I couldn't help but watch him and bite my lip, he had cheeks. I love a dude with cheeks, his ass was fat though. I snapped out of my thoughts then got dressed and headed down to the kitchen where I seen Nicole and Drè sitting at, "good morning Nicole" I said and smiled at her while she was cooking.

"Good morning boys, how was your night though? Do you like it her?"

"Yea, this place already feels comfortable to me I love it here."

"Well me and Drè like having you here" she smiled back at me. I sat at the table next to Drè, Nicole brought over 3 plates with eggs, bacon, pancakes, and sausage. We both said thank you to her and we all started taking about school, she asked me how Indiana is, and she was telling me about her job, how she liked being a lawyer. She had to leave for work though at 1:30, she won't be back until 8:45. On week days she gets off at 3:16, weekends 8:45. She's use to her scheduled by now as long as she gets to spend time with her son, that's all she cares about she says. We got done eating then we went in the living room I looked around and seen a Wii, my nosy ass, "let's all play a game! I seen y'all have a Wii it's up to y'all if you wanna play though"

"I'll beat both of y'all boys at just dance"

"No mom you only beat me 3 times so stop."

"But you won how many times? Exactly boy stop." I laughed at both of them.

"Well let's see who's the better player." We played for 10 minutes and we all tied, we won 3 rounds each. Then we looked at the time, it was almost time for Nicole to leave.

"Well boys that was fun, but it's almost time for me to go to work."

"Awww really? We were having so much fun Nicole" I looked over at Drè and I seen sadness cross his face.

"Look Drè baby, I'll be home at 8:45, you have company now though. Don't be sad, I love you and I'll see y'all after work."

"I love you too mom but I miss spending time with you like how we use to." Nicole hugged him tight and kissed his cheek

"It'll be okay Drè, Adrian will keep you company till I get home. At least you won't be home by yourself anymore." I just walked up and hugged both of them, "I'm not gonna leave y'all, I promise. Y'all my family outside my house, I gotta be there for my dude. I'll make sure everything's fine when you get home Nicole, we'll see you after work."

"Thank you Adrian, ever since I been a lawyer, I barely got to spend time with Drè when I come home I'm either bringing work with me or I'm too tired."

"It's okay you don't have to explain anything to me" she hugged us both and headed out the door. We watched her drive off and I turned around and Drè was gone, where did he go? I went looking around the house for him, wasn't in the living room, wasn't in the kitchen, wasn't even in the basement, I went upstairs and then I seen him, he was in his room. I walked in his room and stood in the doorway, "I'm sorry Adrian but I just wanna spend more time with my mom, not having your dad in your life effects you more than you expect."

"It's okay I understand"

"No you don't, you have your dad in your life"

"My mom is my mom and dad. My dad left me so many times in my life, I say I don't have a dad. He may be living with us, but i don't care really."

"Before we moved here I was always home alone on the weekends, I didn't wanna leave I just wanted to wait for my mom"
I walked over and sat next to him and put my hand on his shoulder.

"It'll be okay Drè, you don't have to stay home alone anymore I'm here to keep you company." We both smiled, I stood up and pulled him up and hugged him. "Thank you Adrian I really do appreciate it a lot, I normally stay to myself and hide because that's all I've done." I looked up at him.

"It's alright Drè, you're welcome" I put my head back on his chest and he put his arms around me and hugged me tighter.

"Let's go have some fun Drè instead of being in the house bored, let's do something."

"Let's play the game again"

"2 player on Mario?"

"Sure" he smiled.
