He yawned big and rubbed his eyes, "tired?" I asked.
"A little yea"
"Well you wanna go lay down?"
"Not without you" he said squeezing my shoulder a little.
"You're old enough to go sleep by yourself"
"But I don't want to, I want you to come sleep with me. You know you're a little tired too."
"Just a little yea, but I like watching TV" I lied
"Okay then, what just happened?"
"I don't know you was talking to me"
"Before that"
"I don't know either, fine I wasn't paying attention."
"If you wasn't paying attention to the TV, then what was you paying attention to?"
"Nothing"
"Yea it was something"
"Yea it was not, how do you know anyways?"
"I was watching you, closed eyes, smiling, should I keep going?"
"Fine Drè, I was just thinking"

"Stuff" he won't give up.

"Because it's night" I laughed

"Well I'm gonna go up to bed, when you wanna come up. Come on."
"Alright I need to call my mom anyways and check in."
"I'll be upstairs" he said kissing my cheek then walking up the steps, I pulled my phone out my pocket and called my mom.
"Hey momma"
"Hey China, you enjoying staying at your friends house?"
"Yea it's fun me and Drè been playing the game while Nicole was at work."
"That sounds fun, let me guess you beat him"

"Yea I know China don't get started now" she chuckled. I love my mom so much.
