"This is amazing!" Kate laughs, and throws her head back. I giggle along with her and jump up and down to the beat of the music.

"I'm going to go sit next to Kale!" I yell at her over the pounding noise.

"I'll come with!" We shoved our way to the corner of the club, next to all our friends. The Apex, as usual, was packed to the top.

"How about some shots for the beautiful ladies we have here tonight?" Kale wiggles his eyebrows. Mercifully, it was quieter in the corner, so he didn't have to shout. "Bartender! Can we get a bottle of your strongest Vodka?"

"ID's?" The large, burley man frowned.

"We're friends of Karmen." Karmen was the daughter of the guy who owned the place.

"Oh, alright. It'll be right out." The man cam back around five minutes later with a bottle of a clear liquid.

"Ladies first." Kale poured three shots for Lauren, Kate, and me. Brandon and Josh whooped as we all downed the tiny glasses.

I coughed as the vile liquid went down my throat, forming a warm sensation in my stomach. "Again." I held out my glass for more.

----------

An hour later, I was out of it. Kate was somewhere next to me dancing with a random guy, and I was grinding on some person, who I already forgot their name. The others were nowhere to be found, probably off having their own fun.

"Hey, Steve?" I giggled looking up into their brown, blurry eyes.

"It's Jonah." He laughed and tangled a hand in my hair pulling me close to him.

I playfully untangled my way out of his arms. "I need to pee."

"I'll walk you to the bathroom." He wrapped his arm around me.

"This isn't the bathroom." I stated as he took me out through the back door.

"Chill. The bathroom line will be too long." He rolled his eyes and dramatically covered his face with both hands.

"Oh, okay." I quickly did my business and then jumped on his back. "Hey, Joshua?"

"Jonah. Yeah?"

"Will you buy me a drink?"

"I could use another one."

----------

"What time is it?" I shouted to Jacob.

He looked at his phone. "2:38."

"I think I have to go!" I shouted over the music, my head spinning wildly.

"I'll walk you out."

"I have to find my friend first!" I stumbled through the mass of dancing teenagers, and I found Kate in the middle of it all, grinding against a girl. "Kate! We have to go!"

"Do we have to?" She whined, and made her way over to me.

"Yes!" I laughed at her.

Jonah appeared behind me, and he led us outside. "Wait, you two can't drive yourselves."

"Shit."

"I'd offer to drive you myself, but.." He grinned lazily.

"Okay, James, you can leave now." I pushed him feebly back into the club.

"Jonah! It was fun!" He gave me a thumbs up, and closed the door behind him.

"Well now what?" Kate leaned her head against me and I almost fell over. "I can drive. I'm sooooober."

"Kate, you're going to kill both of us. I'll call Braeden."

"Mm." She sat on the ground, against the wall, and I dialed Braeden's number. My vision was a little foggy, and I was starting to feel a little nauseated. My fingers stumbled along the keys, and it took my several tries before I could type the correct number in.

"Yellope?" A warm, familiar voice came on my end of the phone.

"Braeden?" I slurred.

"Rose?"

I blinked to clear my vision. "Braeden, come pick me up."

"Rose, are you drunk?" His disapproving voice came through.

"Noooooo. I'm just... tipsy." I sighed.

"Where's Kate?"

"Passed out."

"Stay put. I'm coming." The phone went dead and I put my head against the wall.
