"You corrupted her!" I wanted to pull all of my hair out my head thanks to the idiot standing in front me.
"I did not." He retorted. "Not my fault she got sent home early."
"Uhh.. yeah it is! Braeden, she got sent home because she said fuck. Because of your stupid song!" I was about punch him. Apparently Violet was going around her class screaming 'fuck' at the top of her lungs, so she was sent home. They called Melissa, and she called Braeden to pick her up and bring her home, saying she'd call the school and state the reason she had to leave early.
I guess she forgot I brought Braeden to school.
So Braeden told the secretary the situation and that's how we ended up in his living room yelling at each other.
Violet was sitting on a chair at the kitchen table, feet dangling, and watching us. "Well.. now we got off of school early. That's a plus!" He gave me an adorable cocky grin.
And by adorable I mean annoying.
"Rose, can I eat Jay-Lo?" Violet got up and went to the refrigerator.
"What?" I furrowed my brows.
"She means jello. I taught her that." Braeden informed me.
"Of course you did." I put my hand to my temple. Now I had a headache. "Of course you can, sweetie. Just don't spill."
"Haha, now that I'm thinking about it.." Braeden started, sitting on the couch. "Since you probably don't have anything to do tonight, can you babysit Violet for me? I was supposed to, but I have plans with someone."
"It's your second day. What plans?" How did he make friends that quickly.
He coughed awkwardly, "I met this girl in my math class. Her boobs are the size of Mount Everest. So, she invited me over."
"Oh, god. Spare me the gory details, please." The image of Braeden shirtless filled my mind and my mouth watered. Trying to get my mind off my mental fantasy, I asked him, "So who's this blonde bimbo, anyway?"
"She's a redhead, and her names Kaylie." He rolled his eyes.
"Kaylie? As in Kaylie Adams? I'm not surprised." She hooks up with like, every guy in school. Nice enough, just kind of an airhead.
"Moving on.. what are we going to do about Violet?" I motioned over to her where she sat.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, something needs to be done. Put her in timeout or something."
"She's 6."
"Put. Her. In. Time. Out." I paused after each word.
"Fine, fine. Is it your time of the month?" He muttered, pushing past me. My face flooded with heat.
"Oh, grow up, Braeden!" I stalked past him, purposely hitting my shoulder against his. "I'm going home. I have somewhere to be in like, an hour."
"Violet, go to your room. Where?" He snapped his fingers at Violet then turned back to me.
"None of your business. Bye Braeden. Bye Violet." I waved to them and closed the door. I just really didn't have anything to do.

45 minutes later, I was just finishing up season 1 episode 9 of Teen Wolf. I caught Alison in a particularly horrific moment, when Kate showed up in my room. "So, what happened? We were waiting for you at lunch but you never showed." She collapsed on my bed."Violet got sent home early, because of Braeden." I groaned, stuffing my head into my pillow.
"Oh, no. What happened this time?" Kate laughed at me.
"He played some stupid Nicki Minaj song in the car, and Violet started belting out fuck in class."
"Idiot."
"Tell me about it."
"So, are you gonna get dressed? Or are you just gonna stay in your pj's?" She got off my bed and opened her bag she brought with her. "Btw I'm changing in your bathroom. Thanks, boo!" She slammed the door with a bright smile at me. "Oh, and wear the stuff in the bag!" She yells through the door.
"May I ask where we're going?" I crawled out of my nest. I really don't want to walk. Or do any exercise, for that matter. I looked at the target bag on my bedspread doubtfully. In it was a short black dress and tall black heels. I should have known something was up. A few minutes later, I was fully dressed and Kate came out of the bathroom, holding a tube of mascara.
"We're going to a club."
"Oh, hell no!" I stopped on my way to her.
"Why not? Ladies get free drinks tonight." She smiled and bumped my shoulder.
"Kate, we're not drinking. And we don't even have ID's."
"Ta da! Nick made fake ones. Don't they look real?" She grabbed two cards from her purse and handed one to me. The picture on the card was one of me when I was pretending to model against my mom's white bedroom wall. Not the best, but I guess it pulled for a real ID photo.
"Who the hell is Nick? And why did he give you fake ID's?"
"I.. uh.. hooked up with him at a party once. But yeah, he's great at these things." She looked at hers in admiration. "Please? We won't stay long. We don't even have to drink. We can invite the guys."
"Fine. But you're annoying. Extremely annoying. Now do my makeup." I sat down in front of my vanity.
"That's the spirit!" She spun my chair around once, making me glare at her as I almost fell out of it.
"If someone tries to rape you at the club, I'm going to let them." I threatened.
"I love you!" She sang, putting on my mascara.
"I'm not joking."
