I woke up that night to a man shaking me. When I opened my eyes, he gasped and then quickly shook his head. "Miss, we're under attack by rebels. We need to get you to the safe room immediately." When it was finally over and we were allowed out, the guard handed me a phone. I quickly dialed my mother's number. "Rosie?" She croaked, voice clogged with tears. "Hi Mom." I replied. "Oh my baby. My precious baby girl. We got a phone call from the queen and she said that we wouldn't be able to get a hold of you, so we knew those awful rebels had gotten through." She sobbed. I consoled her and we talked for a few minutes before the guard asked to speak to her. I slipped behind a corner. "Hi." A voice said. I whipped around. It was Prince Lucas. "Prince Lucas!" I cried, dipping into a curtsy. "Prince Luke, please. Hush." He said. "Rowan," the guard began. I heard my mother's voice through the phone. "Why do you think you're allowed to talk to me?" She demanded. Prince Luke brought me to the garden. "I don't why, but I have the strangest feeling we've met before..."
