~Tyler's POV~

I feel myself sobbing into Troye's curls and try to get a hold of myself. But I just saw the boy I love try to kill himself, and he wouldn't be the first person I love who would've died here. There are still so many of my friends here and they said only five would survive. I somehow doubt that I'm part of his plan.

There's Carrie, bless her soul. If she does make it out, she'll never recover the mental damage. There's Connor. Even though I hate him, I don't exactly wish death upon him. There's Dan. If he makes it out, what will he do without Phil? His best friend? I subconsciously hug Troye tighter and take a deep shaky breath.

There's Shane. I bet he's the killer. That's why he's trying to accuse Phil. Well, tried... Before Phil... Yeah... There's Cat. I think she'll die too, to be blunt. She's probably going to find out who the killer is and then fall and break her neck running to tell us. Louise. Poor Louise. I can't imagine how much she's missing Darcy.

At least Colleen and Josh are together. And according to their recently said vows, only death can do them part.  Tanya is probably blubbering about Jim and wondering what she said last to him in case that's her goodbye. Zoë will be writing messages to Alfie that'll never go through, considering how we have no service. I kiss Troye's head and pull myself together. We're getting out of here alive. Both of us.

"Troye. Don't ever scare me like that again."

He shakes and nods. "Okay Tilly. I won't."

I wipe the tears out of my eyes and pull him even closer.

I'm not letting him go tonight.

He's my responsibility now.

I'm taking care of him.

If it's the last thing I do.
