Both Tyler and Josh have received tattoos on stage twice:
- In April of 2013, they both had an 'X' tattooed on them in Columbus to represent dedication to their hometown. Josh's is located behind his right ear, and Tyler's is on his right bicep.
- On the 30th of October 2015, Tyler and Josh tattooed their names on each other just above the knee. The day before they put up a poll on Twitter, letting people choose between Josh or Tyler. They planned for the winner to tattoo their name on the loser, but it ended in a tie.
