CANADAs POV

"He called me a fag? He's the one dating a guy! Not that there's anything                                                                    wrong with that of course, but still! What an arse." Arthur shook his head.

I smiled at the Brit. He laughed a little with me. "Maybe I should go see if he's okay. " I said, moving to stand up. Arthur stopped me. "I think you should leave him for a while, love. Let him cool down."

I felt me cheeks heat up at being called 'Love' but sat back down anyways. After a few more minutes of sitting there in silence there was a loud knock at the door. Arthur got up to get it.

"Hey little bro!" Came a deep voice. "Allistor, what on earth are you doing here?" Arthur demanded. "Came to give my little brother his last box!" The other replied cheerily. "I told you to just mail it!"

"Aw, Artie don't you want to see your big brother?"

"No! Now go away. Give me that first." I heard Arthur take the box from the other.

"Nice room. Sure would be nice to see the rest."

Arthur sighed. "Five minutes. You have five minutes. And don't bother Matthew." He warned.

"Oh, is that your room mates name? He's here? Awesome."

I could feel Arthur glad at his brother from where I sat. "Yes, yes. And don't you bug him."

"Wouldn't dream of it, bro." Arthur came in and put the box on his bed, he was followed closely by a red head who was dressed in all blue.

i gave soft "hello." He flashed me a smile. "You must be Matthew. It's a pleasure. I'm Allistor, Artie's older brother."

"It's very nice to meet you." I smiled. "I wasn't aware Arthur had a brother."

"Well it hasn't really come up in conversation. I has only been five days."

"Well Mattie, if Artie here ever gives you any trouble just give me a ring. I'll come straighten him out, yeah?" He chuckled.

"As if I've ever needed straightening out." Arthur huffed.

"No, you haven't. Yet." Allistor chuckled and kissed Arthur on the head before ruffling his hair and wishing him well in his classes then he left, leaving Arthur pushing and glaring after him.

"Sorry about him," He apologized. "He can be quite annoying at times. I try to get him to behave himself but of course, no one listens to Arthur. No, Arthur is too young, he doesn't know what he's talking about. Ugh. I hate my family."

"Do you have more siblings?"

"I have two, including Allistor. The other one is  very young, twelve. His name is Peter. Allistor looks after him now."

"What about your parents?"

"Both dead."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Well, Alfred and I only have our dad left and he's not the nicest, o I get it a bit. If you ever want to talk I'm here. If you need me.

Arthur smiled. "Thank you Matthew. Now, I believe I have a book or two of mine in here if you wish to read one." Arthur pulled a flip knife from the night stand drawer and cut into the tape on the box.

"Oh, yeah! I do! What have you got?" I stood up and walked over to stand next to him and peer into the box, filled mostly with books and stuffed animals as well as a few movies and a laptop.

"Mostly fantasy. Magic, stuff like that. I've got a few adventure ones. What kind of books do you like?"

"Romance. Dragons and knights. And war. Stuff like that."

"Ah, I see. Here, why not try this one. It's a little bit graphic but it's short. 25,000 words. It's set in world war two. there's a little under laying romance. And lesbians." He smirked at me as if that was the selling point.

"Sounds great!" He pulled out a stack of papers from the box held together with a clip and handed them to me.

The title "Marco Frei" was printed in large font across the frond with 'written by Arthur Kirkland' underneath in a smaller on. I sat on my bed and began to read.

AN: Marco Frei is the name of a novel I'm working on right now, and yes everything said about it is true. I might post it on here but I want to have it published so IDK yet. Anyways, like, comment, follow. Comment. Whatever. I'll update soon, promise.
