Chapter 4
My first thought was Atlantis. But then remembered that it was destroyed and was probably ruined. But it looked exactly like Atlantis. The city of Poseidon. I swam a little further. The tiles were blue and the color cream. They were small, as the size of a new born. The ones I always loved. Around me was ancient Greek statues. Just like Atlantis. But something was different. There were Malls, shops, ice cream stores, food courts and houses in the shape of shells, sea horse, and pearls.
Hundreds of Mermen and Mermaids scattered through. They looked like honey bees, going for work. Except one honey bee was missing.
"Ouch". I yelp.
"Oh. My mistake." A Mermaid picked her cell phone and left. Weird, I thought.
I looked around again. Maybe Alyssa was lost. Maybe it wasn't her fault. Just maybe. Just like it wasn't my fault that I was a mermaid. I spotted an old merman. He creepily smiled, then looked away.
