Chapter 36
(Sapphire's POV)
"Good luck". He said softly. I didn't want to leave. But I had to. I stared at his face that seemed determined, which caused me to stare more.
I ran out fast. The king was no longer there. Two guards stood guarding the door. I hid in the corner of the hall and Luke ran out.
"Um I was wondering if I could some water". Luke lied. "I'll get water. You wait". Spoke a guard and the left.
2 minutes later.....
Luke in a second grabbed the neck of the guard and started chocking him.
I ran out fast with my sword in my hand which I handled as a baseball. Alyssa came right behind me to watch if another guard came.
I slashed the guard in the heart (almost slashing Luke. Sorryyy!!)
Slowly the door opened. "Hyah"! Alyssa jumped and went an inch over the person, and cutting part of his hair.
"Dad"! I screamed. Going towards him and hugged him tight.
