Chapter 30
(Alyssa's POV)
I didn't interrupt. Or I dared not to. We toward the exit which got jitters in me. Uh oh. Where are we taking Luke?
The guards pointed their spears. "We need to check". Another guard came and took my hood off. "Run"! I said pulling my hood on and having Luke. stare at me. (Which in my case can be told as weird)
Sweat ran down my head as I could hear the guards yelling and throwing the spears. "Spilt"! Shouted Sapphire going in a different direction. Suddenly Luke went straight. Hey! Now that's mean. I was supposed to go there!
Instead I followed Sapphire and went ahead of her. Luke came straight which would cause us to intersect. I ran to where Luke was and ran across him. I acted like a normal demon and started walking across the guards.
The place was an unfinished maze with only 2 lanes. "Stop"! I heard a familiar voice. I turned around and saw two guards with hand cuff's coming towards me.
