Alby's Sister(Fanfic Maze Runner)

I peeled my eyes open and sunlight burst through.I groaned and laid back down.A few minutes later I woke up again and slowly rolled out of bed.I changed my clothes into a purple tank top and dark high waisted shorts.Then I put my hair up into a pony tail.Then I slowly walked to breakfast.

"There she is"Anthony said while chuckling.

"We almost thought the grievers got her"Alby said joining in.

"Oh shut your shuck faces"I said annoyed.

"Don't worry sis we were just joking"Anthony said through laughter.

"Yeah sis we were just joking"Newt said while laughing.

"Ok for one Newt you aren't funny and two you're gonna get it"I said while starting to chase him.

I chased him around the whole perimeter of the glade even with a limp he is fast.The other guys were just eating breakfast and laughing.I finally stopped chasing him and walked back to the other guys to get breakfast.I got my breakfast and sat down while Newt was coming over.

"Why does she chase me when you are the ones she is mad at"Newt said to Anthony and Alby while catching his breath.

"I don't know but it works in our favor"Anthony said chuckling.

"You should be quiet before I chase you too"I said while eating.

They backed up a little bit and held up their hands in surrender.

We all just laughed.Then I got up to go put up my plate.

"Bye guys I gotta get to work"I said while walking to the homestead.

"Bye"they all shouted while waving.

I went into the homestead and basically did nothing except for pull out some splinters, wrapping up some cuts, and doing inventory.It was finally time for lunch.Usually I ate lunch with Newt because Alby is always too busy and Anthony is in the maze.I walked over to Frypan grabbed my lunch and headed over to Newt.We sat under a tree eating our lunch in a comfortable silence.Then all of a sudden Newt said

"Abby I have something to tell you"

"Yeah Newt?"

"Thank you"

"For what"

"For everything"

"Do you want to be more specific"

"Yeah for bringing back laughter and happiness, for making everyone feel better, for changing the Glade, and for changing me"

"Newt thats so sweet and also I want to thank you too"

"For what?"

"For being there for me"

"No problem"

Then we hugged.I left and went back to the homestead.Then did nothing for the rest of the day.
