Young Avenger(Avenger's Fanfic) *On Hold*

Chapter 1

"LAUREL GET DOWN HERE" Ugh this is how it usually is. I get called downstairs, I clean for the wit- I mean my stepmother and my stepsisters, then go to school, get picked on by everyone, come home, clean, and go to bed.

Anyways, I go downstairs I see this man standing there. He's tall, dark skinned, has a eye patch, and is dressed in all black. He looks like a clown compared to all the pink in this house, well besides my room which is blue, green, purple, and a little bit of orange.

"Laurel, why don't you take Mr. Furry up to your room and I will be up there in a sec k" my "mothher" asked.  "Fine" I looked at the guy, Mr. Furry, and nodded for him to follow.

When we got to my room he looked at me and said "I like your room so far" "Yeah, my mom and dad painted it when I was 5 before my mom died" I whispered back to him.

At that momment my evil stepmom came in a looked disgusted at my room but shook it off. "So, Mr. Furry why have you come to take her instead of one of my beautiful daughters?" she asked, with a disgusted look. "Wait take me where?" i asked, confusion masking my face.

 "I need you to come with me, if that is ok with your stepmother?" "YES I mean yes of course you can take her" she said, he looked at me and I got up and started backing my things. I could hear my stepmom telling the wicked witches that I was leaving and them busting out in celebration.

"Sir, where are we going" I said looking up at him, "We are going somewhere special"

We arrived at a helicoppter and jumpped in. I can tell you now, I DO NOT like flying so when we started up my only reaction was hyproventalating. Mr. Furry looked at me funny and said "What scared of flying?" I nodded and he just laughed.

I then saw this HUGE aircraft carrier looking thing and then looked back at Furry when we landed and asked him where we where and he just nodded for me to follow so i did. When we got inside I saw a group of people, not just any people THE AVENGERS!!! I knew who they were because I lived in New York and watched them fight that weird, but cute, guy I think his name was Loki or something like that.

I looked at all of them while they were talking. They all stopped once they saw Furry, "Hello again Furry how have you been" Tony asked smirking, then he stopped when he saw me. "Well, Avengers I would like you to meet Laurel" he then stepped a side, did I also mention I am very shy.

"Hi" I whispered, "Director, I would like to know why why you brought a 5 year old here?" Tony asked. "HEY!!!!! I'm not 5, I'm 14 geez" I said, "Oh, so she does talk. Well then anyway why is she here?" Tony said.

I looked up at Furry asking him the same question in my head even though he can't hear. "She is here to help you guys with Loki." "WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?" we all screamed, I looked at him like he was crazy. "NONONONONONO I can not help. 1. I'm 14 2. I don't have powers 3. I am not risking my life they can but I can't" "Director Furry do you really think it's smart to have a 14 year old go up against Loki?" Captain asked, "Yes I do" Furry said. "Bruce will you take Laurel to your lab?" "Umm ok" and we were off.
