Chapter 24

You know the saying, things happen for a reason? Well if you do then then its probably happened to you. I'm expirencing it right now.

Except, I dont know why its happening to me.

So if someone could please tell me how I ended up on Asgard in front of Odin with the son of the man thats wants to use my power to destroy the world and the Mighty Thor?

But maybe I should start at the begining, back when I was talking to Loki's son.....

4 Hours earlier

"Wait! You are THE Loki Laufeyson's son? The one that kidnapped me to use me for his evil plan to destroy and take over all the worlds?" I asked.

"Yes, that one" he replied with a short nod. I sat back, dumbfounded. I then sat up, thinking of an idea. "Um so how long have you been locked up? i asked.

"What's the date?" He asked, looking questionably at me. I look down at my watch, "Its April 16th."

"Then I've been stuck in here for 4 months."  He said, seeming like it was no big deal. "Wait, what? How did you end up here?" I asked.

"Well my father, Loki, met a woman here on Earth. But he left before she even knew she was pregnant with me. She apparently had another child that is suppose to be my fraternal sister. My mom gave me up for adoption when I was born but kept my sister.  But anyway, a few months ago I noticed I had the weird "talents" as my mom said. I ended up blowing up my school by accident and then S.H.I.E.L.D came and took me away from the orphanage.  Then I came here and found out my powers and that my father was Loki. They decided that I may be "evil" so they locked me up in here." He stated, never breaking out in a tear or anything. Just blankness written on his face.

Then something, a light bulb, dinged in my head. "What was your sister's name? If you know it." I asked.

"Umm I think they said it was Madison or Maddy or something with an M." He said. I stood up quickly. "No way."

"What?" he asked, looking at me weirdly. "Come with me" I stated again, before grabbing his hand and dragging him out. "We cant leave, they'll kill me if they find me out of this cell!" he exclaimed.

"No they won't, as long as you stay with me and keep your head down" I stated, looking him in the eye. He silently nodded. "Good."

"We ran down the corridor, before reaching a fork. I looked both ways before sighing.  Gael looked at me with confusion. "Whats wrong" I looked at him before trying to figure out if I should tell him or not.

'I cadidn'tremishdeberwhihdidchway" I mumbled quickly. "What?" he asked, I sighed, "I can't remember which way."

He looked at me with those silver eyes. "You mean to tell me, you are risking my life here and you don't even know which way we are suppose to take to go, Gods knows where?" he asked me.

"Ok, yes but I am not taking you to Gods knows where, I'm taking you to see someone." I said. I looked at the fork again. Lets try right.

We headed right and to my surprise, I was right. Also, surprisingly we didn't run into anybody. "Ok, let me go in and make sure she's in there." I told him.

I turned and stepped into the room. I found her sitting perched o her chair intently staring at a sketch page.  "Have you ever wondered how a pencil is able to make such beautiful art?" she looked at me.

"Yes I have but on another note, I have someone you should meet. Now don't freak out or anything." I said, she nodded. I went to the door and opened it. Gael looked at me, I nodded for him to come in.

"Gael, I would like you to meet your fraternal sister, Maddy."

They both looked at me before Maddy started to speak. "How, how is this possible?" she said, wide eyed and everything. Gael went on to explain everything.  Maddy looked shocked. "So that would mean that Loki, the one that held me captive for years, is actually my father?" Gael nodded.

Maddy sat down and took a deep breath. She then continued on asking questions and that how we wasted an hour on that.

Me and Gael stood up. "Time to get you back to your cell." I said looking at him. He nodded before giving Maddy a hug goodbye.

We made it back to his cell door but before he went in he turned to me. "Thank you for introducing me to Maddy." he said, finally showing emotion on his pale face. Sorrow and Happiness.

"Your welcome. Glad I could." I said, slightly smiling. "Until we meet again, Madame Laurel." He lifted my hand to his lips. I blushed.

He cheekily smiled before turning to go into his cell. I locked it up again  and turned to walk away. I got half way down the hall before I heard a booming voice. "Lady Laurel! How are you to day?" I turned to see Thor walking towards me.

"Thor! How many times have I told you to just call me Laurel?" I told/asked him. He smiled. "Sorry. So what are you doing down here?" He looked at me. "I should ask you the same too?" He smiled once more.

"I'm here in Midgard to collect someone." I looked at him curiously. "I'm here to collect my brother's child." I looked at him wide eyed. "You mean Gael? Why?"

"You know of him?" Thor asked. "Yes, we just met and all. Do you know where his room is? Because I can show you it." Thor gestured his hand, to show me to lead the way.

We headed back down the corridor before reaching his room. I unlocked it and walked in. Gael looked at me then at Thor. "Gael, this is your uncle, Thor Odinson."

Thor walked over to him and smiled. Gael kind of shrunk back. Thor took hold of his arm to and yelled towards the sky.

"Wait what are you doing with him?" I asked. "I'm taking him to Asgard." Thor stated. Gael wiggled his way out of Thor's grip and ran to me. He took hold of my arm before yelling, "Not without her."

I looked at him like he was crazy. Thor sighed before grabbing me and Gael, and shouting to the sky again. I felt a rush and then I saw a rainbow of colors and stars around me.

We soon landed on what looks like the bifrost from my mythology book. I looked around before my eyes landed on a man. His eyes showed everything. You could see the all constellations in his eyes. he also wore a huge metal horned helmet and wielded a giant sword. Heimdall. He was the guardian of the nine relms. Sworn to protect everything and everyone.

Thor nodded to him before walking out. We crossed the Rainbow bridge on horses and rode to the palace. I suddenly became nervous. Here I am about to be presented to the Allfather and I'm in my black skinny jeans and Doctor Who shirt.

Gael looked utterly confused at what was happening. I turned to tell him what was going on, but before I could I heard a booming voice. Thor brought us to the front of the room, we reached a golden throne. And there sat the Allfather.

I curtsied in front of him and elbowed Gael to bow. He did as I said. I looked back up at Odin.

And that is how I ended up in front of the mighty Odin himself.
