Chapter 21

Laurel's Prov

"Did anyone else hear the buzzing?" Mr. Reed looked at me before laughing. "It was just my phone, don't worry."

I let out a sigh of relief. We landed on the helicarrier, people started racing towards us. I was pulled away from the group to be examined by medics. When they finished, all i heard was a scream. Then followed by "WHERE IS SHE!?!?!!?"

I rolled my eyes knowing that is was Mary Catherine. And I was right. She came running in wide eyed, with bags under her eyes. Looks like she hasn't slept in days.

Tears streamed down her face as she ran for me. I didn't hear anything else only just sobs. I felt wettness on my face, realizing I was crying to, she looked at me.

Before she could say anything, the door opened. Natasha stepped in, looking at me before hugging me. Mary Catherine looked confused then she pieced  it all together.

Natasha looked at me,  I nodded understanding what she ment. It was time to explain. She gave me one last hug before walking out.

Mary Catherine looked at me, she was about to say something when director Furry came in. "Bruce needs you in lab" he said, "Can you call a meeting in 30 mins, i need to explain something." I asked, he nodded before leaving.

I gave Mary Catherine a hug before walking to the lab. I entered, giving Bruce a quick hug, and Tony a knuckle punch.

"So, I guess Dr, Reed explained I had a new power?" I questioned, Tony ad Bruce both nodded. They ran test on me, taking blood and all, as i watched them.

"So, you clearly can not get hurt, but don't worry, you still age and all, and you will die one day but with the power it will take a lot to kill you."

Ok, thats wonderful news.

A timer went off, telling me that the meeting was happening. I walked with Tony and Bruce. Me and Tony were discussing AC/DC songs.

We made it to the converence room, evryone was seated. I felt the sweat start on my forehead, they all watched me as I stood up.

"Ok, so I called this meeting to discuss something. A couple of weeks ago I told you all I had a dad that worked here. Well he is not the only family member I have here." They were all staring intentally at me, so I continued, "You all know her, it is with great pleasure that I tell you all that my cousin is......"

"Natasha Romanoff."

Finally Updated. Sorry it has been so long. I'm going to start updating more. But I do have Band camp coming up, and school starts soon.

I'm going to be a 9th grader! YAY!!
